FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continuing to take English classes in my hometown as I grow into a more well-rounded and creative writer.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Although I began seriously writing and proofreading just a few years ago, I've had a passion for English and creative writing since before I even moved up to the first grade, as my mother has endless stories to tell of my early writing adventures. Junior high school is where I began script-writing for fun as a faster way to get stories across without forgetting what I wanted to include. High school is where I realized that I loved and wanted to do much more with writing instead of getting a good grade in school, thus, I created stories based off of my favorite franchises and shows. Now, I create original works based off of my personal experiences expanded on a fun and creative level or an entirely new idea that could truly intrigue someone into reading what I can make.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I receive are proof-reading original stories of 200+ pages. Every now and again, I'm asked to edit in or edit out certain parts that I believe may hurt the story, but most times, I am asked to ensure that the grammar and punctuation is accurate.
