Introduction: I am a poet by nature. I feel the rhythm and flow of the language and have some success at harnessing that feeling to express ideas clearly. I work quickly and so, can meet tight time frames. ... creating or helping to create poetry in prose. I especially enjoy the challenge of making complex ideas accessible to readers. I also love learning; I find writing and editing a natural connection to learning new things.

Majorie assisted a colleague of mine who needed assistance with finishing the book manuscript of his experiences in the Catskills, NY. She provided excellent service and he was very satisfied with her work. Harris Layne

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I find it extremely difficult to estimate the cost/price of an editing project because so much depends on the draft to be edited. I use "How Much Should I Charge" by Lynn Wasnak as a guide but feel any quote needs to be subject to change--either up or down.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I have always been a writer. As a child, I wrote stories and poetry. There was never any question for me...

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My work varies with the client: I research and write original articles and blog posts; I edit existing articles and educational lessons.
