I am so unbelievably impressed by my dear friend Kristie - mainly by how devoted she is to her practice and how vigorously she’s trained. She created a warm and welcoming atmosphere at her Intro to Ayurveda class through pleasant narration and helpful instruction. Her class was split into a yoga portion and an educational portion. We began with a mindful focus on our breath and moved into the traditional sequence of poses. Kristie encourages, corrects and inspires with both patience and grace. The second portion of her class was centered on Ayurveda education. We learned that Ayurveda is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a balance between the mind, body, and spirit. She taught us that Ayurvedic doshas are biological energies found throughout the human body and mind. She even drew up mock examples to help us identify doshas within ourselves and others. Kristie teaches with such passion and fervor and I am truly looking forward to her next lesson.

Kristies intro to Ayurveda class was an amazing experience. Despite being a bit of a novice in my practice i felt very at home in the studio and working through the different poses. Kristie’s instruction and explanation was very helpful and extremely informative in every thing that we did. I look forward to the next class and in putting some of the things i learned into practice in my day to day life. Thank you!!

Kristie made me feel like this class was tailored just for me even though clearly this class had all types of people. She had even asked if I had any injuries as I had shoulder problems. I had a great workout and alot of knowledge about Ayurveda. Cant wait til the next class.

Kristie is one of the best yoga instructors I’ve ever had. She has a wonderful aura and she’s very encouraging, positive, and kind. Her class was very easy to follow, she demoed, gave great verbal instruction throughout which made it easier to develop more of a flow in my practice, and she came around and helped each individual. She’s also extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend attending one of her classes or doing a private session with her if possible!
