As both a professional dancer and a neuroscience graduate, I am intimately aware of both the physical and mental benefits of yoga. As we work together we will not only achieve your fitness goals but also greater focus for your mind. I believe in the deep healing effects of yoga spiritually and physically, my approach balances effort (abhyasa) of heat building postures with the surrender (vairagya) of restorative postures leaving you refreshed from the inside out and free to move about your day in stronger alignment and clarity.

Tara is a fantastic instructor. She has such a calming presence and is super supportive throughout the whole class. I especially love that she keeps the sessions fresh, so no two classes are exactly the same! Her clear explanations and suggestions for finetuning poses have really helped me progress in my yoga journey. And lastly, her playlists are always spot-on!

Tara presented a well crafted beginner yoga session that felt productive and also sensitive to my body’s limits.
