Very professional and good with kids. He brought a special balloon flamingo for the birthday girl. I had Brad for a birthday party with about 14 children (mostly toddlers) and about 40 adults. He was the highlight of the party! I would recommend him.
After5 Events made sure that our wedding day was absolutely perfect! My husband and I spend over a year working with them and we couldn't be happier. Gabby is the kindest and most professional person to work with. She went to almost all vendor appointments with us and referred us to many of the vendors we ended up selecting. She is also very creative and hands on during the entire process. She gave us ideas on how to maximize our budget (and kept us on budget!!!), gave us creative design and decor ideas to fit our rustic winter theme, and kept us on track with a month to month time line. The day of our event went off flawlessly [minus the most difficult dress bustle i have ever encountered ;)] because of the After5 Events team. We honestly couldn't have done it without them. They were at the venue hours before the ceremony and reception making sure every last detail was perfect. From the decor items being placed properly to making sure all the vendors arrived on time to orchestrating the start of the ceremony, they were there making sure we didn't have to worry about a thing on our special day. Laura took the pictures for our wedding party and reception and worked tirelessly the whole day. She was amazing. She took sooo many wonderful shots and was so much fun to work with! She had many great ideas for poses and really captured the beautiful day to the full extent. I highly recommend Laura for any and all professional quality photos!
Joanne helped me with the decorations of my December wedding. I needed professional help in decorating a huge empty reception hall area. I knew that she would be a good fit for the job I was looking for, after reading her introduction pamphlet via Thumbtack. I know she offers a whole range of wedding-related services (from rentals to full wedding coordination), however the service I used was only decoration so my review will be speaking to that part. My review is that she (and her team) was amazingly creative and committed to the task, willing to go all the way to meet my requests and even beyond expectations. Our reception area turned out to be really really beautiful, I was very happy with how it looked, and a lot of people commented to me that the room looked very lovely and beautiful. 5 stars with no doubt! :) Speaking more in depth and about the process - we had a short time planning the wedding and had hired her only 3 months prior to our wedding. She was fast in terms of getting into the action. In total I think we met about 3-4 times in person (discussing, planning, trying things around), had many email/Pinterest communications in between as well. In terms of design, I think I had specific things I wanted particular for my wedding and I wanted to do some part of the decorations myself (wanted to do some DIY), so we had to work it out so that everything goes smoothly together. My theme was not simple (not just one-color theme), but after seeing my Pinterest pins and photos I sent her, I think she got a spot-on sense of what I was hoping for in my head. I liked and appreciated that she was very flexible, and was willing to hear me and match the style I was explaining to her. And she made it come true in an even more beautiful way than I imagined. We actually had a session in which she actually put together and showed a sample centerpiece to us - this was very helpful for me, to actually see the real version of what we had been discussing. In terms of communication, she and I used Pinterest a lot to discuss what style/design we were talking about, and this was helpful because it lets us talk in pictures (it is really hard to explain a design with just words). She was prompt and proactive in communicating with me. Plus, I also appreciated that she was willing to contact and speak directly with many other parties involved on behalf of me (e.g., the church personnel, the caterer), as I had been taxed in terms of my time and resources. She has much experience and she seems to know her way around. She and the team is also amazing in terms of how they make everything "work". We had the reception hall available to be decorated within less than 24 hours of the day, and she and her crew came and did everything to transform the place overnight. She also has a plenty of things that you need for a wedding (props, gadgets, anything) and she was able to let me rent it right away when I realized that I needed X and Y like 2 days before the wedding. If you ask her and chances are she may have it available for you to borrow. There are only a couple things that I thought could be improved. Although overall Joanne was very flexible and amenable to work with my budget, I do think in retrospect that it would have been nicer to have a discussion right at the beginning about the cost estimate (the breakdown and total, quotes of individual components) so that I would not have to worry further down about meeting the budget. Overall I am really happy and lucky to have worked with Joanne, who made everything beautiful for my wedding. She has amazing talent, passion, commitment to her work, and is willing to go all the way to work wonders!
From the beginning you made the whole process appear effortless and I appreciate how you worked with us every detail. The event was beautiful. From the very beginning, I felt very comfortable working with you and knew you had everything in control. In addition, Being a perfectionist myself it was great to feel comfortable from the start and know I could rely on you and your team . I knew the room, food, decorations, and everything else were going to be amazing...but when I actually saw the set-up, I was blown away. Your attention to detail shows in all aspects of your work. We received many complements on the decor and food and I told everyone about Ashley's Culinary Creations and how amazing you and your team are.

The best decision we made when planning our reception was to hire Molly with Anchor Events. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful and stress-free reception. Molly was always very responsive, professional, flexible throughout the planning process and had great suggestions to fit our budget. She created perfect centerpieces and decorations for the reception that were better than we could have imagined. She wrangled all our vendors with ease to ensure they were all on time and on the same page about the day's agenda. She even ran interference for us when a vendor was causing stress and got us drinks at our reception! If you are thinking about hiring a wedding planner or a decorator you should book Anchor Events, you won't regret it.
Erica was great! As a single mom, planning my son's first birthday, she really helped alleviate the anxiety of planning his party. She listened to everything I wanted and made it happen within my small budget. She was with me all day to help set up the party, make sure everyone was having fun and got their goodie bags, and she even helped tear down and clean up after the party was over. I would trust her with any party I want to throw in the future.
We booked Beamin' Sounds Entertainment for DJ services for both our wedding ceremony and reception. Let me tell you, we could not have been more fortunate than to make that initial call to them. Brent, the owner of Beamin' Sounds was our DJ. We met with him four or five times to plan ALL details of our wedding. He was not only a DJ but also a wedding planner, providing us with full ceremony and reception agendas/itineraries, copies of the ceremony music for our rehearsal, and so much more. He adjusted my train and veil before walking down the aisle with my dad, and kept the party going the ENTIRE NIGHT (from 5:00 - midnight!) and everyone on the dance floor. The flow of the reception was perfect, thanks to him, as everything was timed perfect and no one was ever just sitting, waiting for the next event or dance. There was always something going on. He brought so much personality and energy to our wedding. I must say, I truly miss having meetings with him and seeing him, because he made us feel like family. Do not regret your choice of DJ's for your wedding, the music affects your day more than you know, and Beamin' Sounds will not let you regret your choice on your big day. I even had a problem with another vendor (unfortunately) that did not perform their service up to quality and was a BIG problem at our wedding, and Brent went out of his way to write a letter and talk to the owner of this other vendor to support me in my claims on his own time- he was so helpful and supportive when I was dealing with a very, very disappointing aspect of our big day. Worth every penny, as you get not only get a DJ, but also a wedding planner, and a friend! Beamin' Sounds MADE our wedding day what it was.
Karianne catered a party of 100 people and is also doing my wedding in a month for 150 people. Both jobs will be in Niagara Falls New York. I was very impressed with her work. She was very diligent and helpful. Made helpful l recommendations that were in my interest not hers. Everything was on time, hot, and tasted delicious. She was very professional and made my party a success.
