Wiggles Cleaning

Let begin by apologizing for such a review. As per my other reviews, this is very rare. I will however, defend myself. I currently have SEVERAL clients. Some take a day to accomplish the necessary tasks and others not long at all. First thing is, my quote is $75 flat rate for UP TO 3 HOURS. Secondly, I completely cleaned each room. As I finished (and I admit didn't take quite as long as I had thought it might) I asked if there was anything more I could do. I then learned that the woman of the house has been in the hospital for quite some time (which explains the lack of work). Now, 1. if I was "taking advantage" of these nice elderly, the when the one sister approached me with "Is it $90?" I would have said yes. Yet, I corrected her and told her no, it's was only $75. She then told me that her father would most likely wrote me a check because he would like to be the one paying me. She asked me to accept it and kindly tear it up. WHICH I DID. Finally, when the sister (WHO DON'T LIVE AROUND HERE) called and left a voice mail for me, I was at first willing to call her back and discuss her concerns. However, the ending comment that she made and I quote "and don't even cash that check my dad wrote out for you because I will be putting a stop payment on it". At that point, no, I no longer believed I needed to reimburse anyone for anything. I went into their home, I cleaned it. I'm sorry I didn't sit in there and play around to use up 3 hours. I feel you were more concerned on the length of time someone spent there than you were in the cleanliness of their home. You can not justify my work ethics when you were not there to check or look over my work and at no point did anyone ever state specifics tasks not completed. Ceilings and walls were swiffer dusted, furniture was damp dusted, bathrooms were washed and sanitized, dishes were washed and kitchen was cleaned. Floors were swept and mopped. I did my job. I'm a busy girl. I have over 30 clients who are completely satisfied. I have been doing this 15 years and this is only the 2nd one to have such a complaint. As far as the attendance part, yep first time was my fault. Bought a new phone and just assumed my calendar would transfer as it always had before, my fault for not double checking. Yes, I did ask if they would mind but was ok if no, she said I'd rather not and I said no problem and came right away! Sorry, that often happens, clients are so dependent on me they ask for more. But I want to thank you for leaving this review. I hope other hard working housekeepers see it and take note that there are some people out there who aren't happy unless they are trying to make someone else unhappy. I'm a good housekeeper. I have a full schedule and I have been doing this way too long. But again, thank you and good luck in the future.
