Ended up doing the job ourselves but they were very responsive, smart ideas, and competitively priced! Would definitely use.!!Jan 2, 2019Verified
Basement Finishing or Remodeling
Zef and his crew were awesome from start to finish! They helped us with a basement renovation that kept morphing and changing throughout the project (we kept finding more things that needed to be fixed!) and they were flexible, responsive, communicative and thorough. They took great notes, lots of photos, were clear about costs and time, and even finished the project early, despite all the new things that popped up. We'll definitely be calling them again for any new home projects. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!Dec 29, 2018Verified
I had various quotes from several different contractors and by far Dacaj Home Improvement was the best rate I received. Very affordable and considerate to those on a budget! Great team and worth ethic. The job was done within the week. Would definitely recommend and do business with again! Thank you!Nov 13, 2018
It’s always a gamble hiring a team that does not have many reviews online, but in our case it really paid off. These guys were so fair, responsive, and showed up on time every single day until the job was done. They took pictures throughout the day so we could be included in decisions and see their progress while we were at work. Our project was a big one. We bought a one bedroom on the Upper West Side that needed a LOT of love and Dacaj Home Improvement gave it just that. They ripped up our old carpet, brought the original hardwood floors back to life, removed and replaced the baseboards and moulding, added decorative panel moulding, sanded and fixed up the cracks dents and holes in our walls, primed and painted, and more. We will most likely hire them to do our kitchen next. Don’t let the lack of reviews scare you. These guys are honest and fair, and know what they are doing!Dec 12, 2018
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is always fare and respectful toward the job
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? My process for working with a client is always giving a free proposal. Making sure we are in the same page with everything, choosing the right materials or understanding simple needs from the client. To then finishing up the work and checking with client to make sure everything is what they asked for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Worked with several clients and major contractors that I’ve done sub jobs from. They have become my mentors throughout the years.
