Fantastic working with HVPP! Answered all my questions and gave me tips about things I wasn't even thinking about.

Extremely knowledgeable! I felt confident that our workouts were safe and effective, as well as pleasant. Very pleasant and very professional. I will be picking back up with her after the hectic holiday season. I can't wait!

About this pro

I have a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology not just a certification to be able to do personal training. This advanced degree give my a much deeper understanding of how the body performs, specifically under the stress of exercise. I also have experience with many varied populations. I work in Cardiac Rehabilitation, I have conducted research with college students and world class athletes and I love helping people to learn how to start their personal exercise programs centered around their specific needs. I love getting to work with people who are hungry for a positive change in their lives; even if they need a little help along the way. A also LOVE to be able to design, implement and follow a client though their journey. In previous jobs I have not been able to follow through with my patients/clients and I always felt that was a very important step and I wasn't able to take it. Now I can!

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first session is longer and includes more behind the scenes work so it does cost a bit more. You can purchase one off sessions or packages. I do four week packages at a discount because how we get the real work done!
    • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our first session is a learning experience. It tends to take a bit longer as we both start to learn about the other. I start on the goal setting process the very first day while I get your health history and as much of your story as you are comfortable sharing with me. From there I like to do a mini workout. When possible I like to keep each part to 30-45 minutes each so we get some good, informative conversation going as a base for our relationship and a good workout in. The workout serves to give me an even deeper insight into the work we will be doing in the days and months to come. It also gets to be a great launch point for your fitness routine!
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am constantly seeking new information to keep up to date in my training practices and so I may answer my clients questions more thoroughly or direct them to the correct resources.
