I have found a private chef for LIFE!!! My experience with Chef Lisle was absolutely amazing....I’m not interested in any other Chef!! :) From the moment I had reached out to him to cook privately for a ladies wknd (three course Dinner and Brunch the next day) , he was extremely responsive and professional. I had a million food items that I wanted (I have a healthy appetite) but he patiently entertained my indecisiveness lol, and even suggested ways to re-work the menu so that it made sense. I truly appreciated his suggestions at the beginning, so that I didn't become overwhelmed. He’s Very patient and extremely solution driven, which made things so easy for me when speaking with him. He responded in a reasonable amount of time via email and phone calls, which I appreciated. My impression about him was good from the beginning. So, let me fast forward to the food part —- OMG, the food was beyond amazing !!!! Before each course, he told us what we were about to eat. Everything was well seasoned, divine and just the best tasting!! His presentation was top quality, that you spoke to his professional training. Per my request, he had prepared a Seared scallop salad with edamame and corn (1st course), Garlic shrimp with risotto (2nd course), and jerk salmon with asparagus and a yucca purée (3rd course), in additional to sides of crab legs, Sautéed spinach and Mac and cheese bowls. Take my word for it, his food was great. All of The food that he purchased was of great quality. What I loved was that he was extremely professional and over-communicated from the day we hired him, until the Very end. He was extremely down to earth and has a great personality that also meshed well with the ladies and I. It’s so enlightening to see such a gifted and cool Chef!!!! Having Chef Lisle there made it more than just a meal, but an experience all of us would remember FOREVER. Thank you for being so gracious, cool, respectful, valuable and talented. I 1000% plan on hiring Chef Lisle again for future personal functions (the other ladies said the same thing). As I said, you are my Chef for Life !!! Also, If there’s a chance that my office opens back up , I will do everything to make sure my department/company hires you for events and outings . Wedding and Event Catering
Chef Lisle was very accommodating in helping plan the menu for our event. He was also very flexible in our planning discussions to incorporate our wishes. Most importantly, the execution was impeccable. He prepared a three course menu, during a pandemic, with all appropriate safety and health precautions, and the food was simply excellent. Event Catering (Drop-off)
The food was simply delicious and the portions generous. Everything was fresh and chef Lisle was able to use a 2nd kitchen in the house - so appetizers were delivered just cooked. I almost felt like he was working too hard! My guests were blown away and every single response to my thanking them for being my guests was "the food was EXCELLENT". - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For private chef events where I am cooking on site, I charge $100/ hr plus the cost of ingredients which I submit prior to the start of your event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First we start by finding out what it is the client is truly looking for, as far as cuisine, kind of event, and how many guest. From there we go through our sample menus to see if there is something that we offer that strikes their fancy if not we work with each client to provide the most cost effective and personalized menu possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Graduated from Monroe college in New York with an A.S in Culinary Arts. Prior to graduation I did a 3 month culinary study abroad in Italy. After graduation I worked my way through several of New York cities restaurants and corporate kitchens like Google, Gracy Mansion, New York Presbyterian hospital. I also have my NYC food handlers license.
