- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If we are talking about a job that I come out and price for a customer it is not complicated at all. If it is a service call that I will be there for a few hours, my pricing is as follows. $75 is my service call which gets the first 30 mins of work (+material) every hour after that is $50/hr. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking at IRR supply, Home Depot and other outlets to better myself. They are always holding small certification courses from their vendors. I believe there is no better learning tool than hands on learning.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family owns a few hardware stores in the Niagara County area so I have always been a hands on guy. Along with a few rental properties of our own it has morphed into the full time beast it is now.
