Home Organizing

I am in the process of turning my 2nd bedroom into a home office and guest room. I’ve had boxes stacked in the room for 2 years...just stuck about what to do with the accumulation of things. I am so glad that I found Alice. She is an excellent professional organizer. She did in one day what I’ve been unable to get to for two years! With years of experience, patience, practicality and solution-oriented ideas, Alice helped me decide which things to let go of and how to reduce clutter. She even helped me tackle my walk-in closet. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I’ve made a huge step in decluttering and organizing my home. I will definitely be calling Alice again.

My experience working with Alice has been the best. Alice is professional and a true expert in the field of organization. She is easy to work with because of her work ethics, trustworthiness, and relational capabilities. All of the qualities are very important when you are allowing someone into your personal space. We have been able to organize and declutter my home including closets and my garage. I credit Alice for the vast improvement in my credit scores. She helped me to set up systems for opening mail and discarding unwanted mail. This has assisted in my paying attention to bills and for making timely payments. Before working with Alice, I had bags and drawers filled with unopened and un addressed mail.I look forward to our work sessions because I know I will be all the more organized. Alice also teaches you how to maintain and how to recognize if things are getting out of control.

“Alice is THE BEST! I was just moving into a new home, unpacking, when I broke my foot. Well, that propelled me to reach out to Alice … and she came to my rescue! The move itself was a daunting task, taking several months — consolidating the contents from three homes into one. Alice facilitated unpacking, sorting, and organizing of all items, as well as in the purging and donating of items no longer needed. Probably the most challenging component of the project was tackling my home office. Before: a complete nightmare! Alice remained unphased. Strategically calm, she helped me start to sort through cartons of paperwork from over the last decade, for 3 households, including my 93yo mom’s affairs (massive medical paperwork, taxes and more). Without Alice, I’d be too overwhelmed by it all. Honestly, if I could afford, I would hire her permanently, as my personal assistant, to help me stay organized! At the very least, I plan on periodic “check ins” to help stay on track. Alice has helped to define order and structure in my new home, making it the oasis I dreamed of! A small organizing project suddenly became a move to a new home. There is no way I could have packed up 42 years of belongings without Alice’s help and expertise. Besides being incredibly efficient, Alice was a blast to work with. She made an overwhelming task actually enjoyable. She was calm, encouraging and always seemed to do more work than I did.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Pricing is dependent upon location, type of job, and if any additional supplies or services are needed (i.e. shredding, storage, etc.). At your free consultation, we will discuss the factors that determine your hourly price.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    It all begins with a phone call. We talk about the work you need done, whether it's a situation that's been going on for a while, or a new situation such as a move that you need help with. We then schedule your free in-home consultation, and you're on your way! Together we will work step-by-step towards laying out a plan and achieving your goal.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a long professional history in business, education and management, as well as parenting- I am the mother of four children. I have worked with many different groups of people and relate to my clients on an individualized basis. All that I have done in my life has prepared me for the work of a Professional Organizer, and I am finding great satisfaction in seeing the results it brings to my clients. I attend regular NAPO & POLI meetings to network with other Professional Organizers & keep abreast of what is going on in the industry.
