Working with Robert has been a wonderful experience. He challenges you, but still moves at a pace that allows you to grasp each new technique. Every lesson is customized and different, and he is very flexible with his schedule. Our tennis lessons are one of the highlights of my week! Thanks Robert!

My friend and I had a great tennis lesson! Thomas was extremely prepared and taught us critical tennis techniques. As a beginner, I felt extremely confident leaving the lesson with the ability to volley forehand and backhand. Aside from being extremely knowledgeable and skilled at tennis, he was very friendly as well. He was a great instructor and I definitely recommend him! My friend and I both are really looking forward to taking additional lessons with him.

John is an extremely knowledgeable, patient, thorough and kind tennis coach. It's hard to teach an old dog like myself new tricks but I am pleasantly surprised at how well he goes about doing so. Give him a shot you will be so happy you did!

I am a collegiate tennis player/instructor. Private and/or group lessons are available for ages five to18. Private lessons consist of focusing more on formation and their ability to become a stronger player. Various techniques are shown to the player, as well as involving the player in instructional drills to aid in their performance. Group lessons have the same focus point. However, more games are played and the focus on solely one player does exist, but isn't as frequent. It is more of group drills and learning. By both, your child will improve without a doubt.

      About

Hi, my name is Sam. I began playing tennis when I was three years old. I began competing in junior tournaments when I was eight years old and continued to compete in tournaments through middle and high school. I played in tournaments all throughout the Southeastern United States and played in the Copper Bowl in Tucson, AZ. I was recruited to play for Davidson College in Davidson, NC, which is an NCAA Division I program. I was a starting player in singles and doubles all three years that I played, and I was team co-captain my senior year. I have taught lessons, clinics, and camps to students of all ages and a wide range of abilities. I prefer teaching more advanced junior players. What I value most, however, is a strong work ethic and personal interest in the sport. Though I usually curtail my lesson around the skill level of the particular player, there is a basic structure to each lesson. First, after warming up, I like to start off by working on a specific skill that the student wants or needs to practice. After doing related drills, I like to incorporate the particular skill through point play. At the end of the lesson, I like to use basic consistency drills to make sure that the student leaves feeling in tune with the ball.
