I took piano lessons from Gary for years and his program is fantastic. I learned to play the piano through songs that I loved, which made me want to continue with lessons as a kid. I am in college now and I still play the piano. Also, his rockonamerica program was a wonderful experience. I got to play rock music in a band with other kids my age. It was way cooler than any piano recital. I would definitely recommend taking music lessons with Gary; his lessons were a lot of fun and years later I still retain what I learned.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Piano Playground and the instructor is just fantastic! She has obvious love and deep passion for her work, and she is very patient and kind to her students. She also uses technology and a wide variety of materials to enhance each lesson. I am very delighted by the development of my daughter's musicianship, and how much she looks forward to her lessons every week. I highly recommend Piano Playground to anyone looking to give the gift of music to their children.

Maria is the most thorough, pleasant, and knowledgeable private music teacher I've ever taken lessons from. I leave each piano lesson with a more comprehensive understanding of notes, of rhythms, of musicality, but most importantly, of myself.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons w/ Ms. Ruth for 5+ years. We love that Ms. Ruth is herself an accomplished musician. She works well with my daughter because she knows when to push her hard and when to relax a little. Like most kids today, my daughter has multiple activities/sports in addition to her school works. Ms. Ruth is flexible with our schedule. Besides teaching my daughter to play lots of the classical pieces; she also encourages her students to play the music that they enjoy. My daughter continues to look forward to her weekly lesson with Ms. Ruth.

Nicole helped my daughters, who are 8 and 13, learn how to play the violin and cello respectively. She gave my girls private lessons out of our home for an hr 2-3 times a week. Nicole is very patient, effective in her teaching methods, and is very knowledgeable in both the cello and violin. I remember one time both my daughter had a recital coming up and she stayed an extra 2hrs longer to help them, and I didn't ask her to! She wanted them to do well and was more than happy to stay. Nicole was always 10 minutes early to our home and I would refer anyone wanting to learn the violin, cello, or beginner piano lessons to Nicole. Couldn't have asked for anyone better! Parent's, employers, and prospective learners, you will not be disappointed with Nicole! Sincerely, One proud and happy mother! Thanks Nicole

I am writing this review as a Colleague. While I have not taken lessons with Candice I know as a seasoned Professional Musician and Teacher myself what makes excellence: and excellence is what Candice's Music Studio offers. Candice is Passionate, Crafted at her Art, and an Excellent Leader and Team Player. It takes a lot more than a Degree in Music to be a great Teacher. You have to have Talent,Heart as well as intellect, instinct and: a desire to constantly be expanding your own horizons while lifting those up around you. Candice has those things in spades. Professionally, I refer Students and Professionals to Voice Studios all the time especially in NY. I would not hesitate to send my own Students to Candice's Music Studio. Steve's lessons offer a relaxed atmosphere and a flexible approach. He adapted his strategies to the things I was already doing and based the lessons on things I was interested in. Basic practice strategies and handwritten directions were provided at each lesson.

I'm a classically trained pianist. I studied at Settlement music school during my youth. I've played concertos with orchestra and competed in international piano competitions. I'm looking to learn jazz piano specifically, not classical. I'm really interested in finding someone that's really good at jazz to learn from.
