If you’re reading reviews of personal chefs, I recommend you look no further!! We hired Wayne to cater a private 5 course dinner for two for our 25th Anniversary Dinner. We told him what we wanted to eat and he devised a fantastic menu incorporating all the items and he made some masterful embellishments. He was personable and very responsive to all of our texts and calls prior to the scheduled date. Unfortunately , on the morning of our scheduled date he had a family emergency and said he had to send his Sous Chef Efraim Vasquez. Wayne said he prepared all the sauces and pre-seasoned the food already and he guaranteed we were going to be in great hands. We were very disappointed and apprehensive because we read a bad review about one of his fill in Sous Chefs and we hired Wayne not one of his Sous Chefs. Wayne acknowledged our disappointment and offered to work something out in the future whereby he will personally cook and present for us. To our sheer delight Efraim was amazing. He was on time and very personable. The food tasted fantastic and the presentation of each course was a work of art. The food was plentiful and we had left overs. The tuna carpaccio was fresh, the lobster salad had a good amount of lobster, the grilled octopus was very tender and well seasoned, the duck breast was phenomenal (tender and flavorful), the seared Chilean sea-bass was delicious, the lobster mashed potatoes were divine and filled with lobster meat, and the banana flambé presentation was the perfect ending with a big, tall fire. I am a foodie and many of the items were the best I’ve ever tasted. This was our first time ever hiring a chef to prepare a meal in our home and we will not hesitate on hiring Wayne again. We are excitedly anticipating our next culinary experience with Wayne himself in the near future.

Chef Wayne was very accommodating and made a special experience from a last minute request to cook a Valentine dinner for my small family. He made it a delicious and special night for my teenage kids and my husband and me. Five courses after this great start (photo below), we were full and happy. He got my kids to try absolutely everything he made and we were happy that the sauces were generally light and delicate so even though there was lots of food, we didn't feel overfull. He left the kitchen spotless when he left and we didn't have to do anything. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a night off in the kitchen and would be happy to hire him again.

Chef Wayne was such a pleasure to work with for my girlfriend’s birthday! A small group of friends were planning this in her backyard, and he was incredibly professional and accommodating to our tastes and everyone’s dietary needs. The 4 course meal was so delicious. Every dish was flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. The evening was special and memorable thanks to Chef Wayne!
