Evis Bejko was my trainer for a little over a year. With him I would do Warrior Fitness and a little Muay Thai. His methods are very effective and just after 6 months my body was all altered. I had better stamina, and my muscles were much better defined. Also I had no more joint pain. Also, he would come up with new techniques and exercises quite often. I would recommend anyone to work with Evis.

I have been a student at the East Morris Karate Academy since 1992. Along with learning physical skills and abilities it has been mentally and emotionally challenging as well. Having grown-up in the East Morris Karate Academy I have yet to outgrow my training. The Instructors commit themselves to achieving classes that are a learning experience for the group and individuals.

NOTHING beats the experience you'll have at Shunato Karate. As a kickboxing student, Sensei Kato has not only taught me the essentials of self defense, but in the process has also taught me confidence, determination, focus, patience, and the importance of a happy workout. I've dropped 6 pant sizes just having fun! Shunato isn't just a dojo, it's a family. You're not going to find anything else like it, so stop looking. Come join us!

Tang Soo Do is a wonderful martial art that provides great discipline, self respect, flexibility and a great source of weight loss. The teachers at Valley Karate are fantastic and they provide a variety of different instructions in line work, terminology, forms, one-step self defense techniques and grabs. They make themselves available for any help or support that is needed by any student. Valley Karate provides a great family inclusion aspect with Parents Night, Buddy Week and Family day. They also hold kids tournaments that make each of them winners no matter what happens and will be holding their first school tournament next Saturday, March 26th. Master Bergers is a superb role model for all the kids and adults, as well as all the other Masters and Dans. Finally, the students all aspire for Black Belt excellence at whatever level they are. Valley Karate rocks!

My daughter started at Legend nearly 5 years ago & is now training to get her black belt. Karate has helped her grow physically and mentally. The dedicated trainers teach not only the art of the sport but the respect that should go with it. At 11 years old my daughter has self esteem and confidence that all girls should have. Many schools give belt promotions based on the number of attended classes but Hanshi solely promotes on merit. Kids are required to work hard to see results. The door is always open to attend extra classes if desired. Its a great family atmosphere and I couldn't recommend the school more!

I had taken up this art at the age of 18 years old to assist me in my job performance while under pressure/ stress. Additionally, it became more and more easier as I trained for 30 minutes each day. I was given many hours of advance specializes training from Keith Sammy, Instructor. Lion Style is an art which gives an individual the abuility to defend themselves from any angle with you legs( since you have longer reach and more power with a kick), then your hands. This is a science built art and utilizes kenitics with psychology to strike an opponent without being strike, lead an opponent into an action that allow you to strike, and confuse the opponent. To this end, Lion Style Karate gave me a life long lesson, which was transferable to my dad to day life. Jon Sumesar-Rai MIFire.E, MPS.

I took a few Kickboxing classes for free and I loved them. You get one on one personalized instruction in a small semi private class setting. I lost twenty pounds going about three times a week with some dieting advise the trainer gave me. The best part is they are about half the price of some of the other schools that I tried.

The 8 year old who is bullied at school was very happy with his private lesson. He's already feeling more confident and has learned some self defense moves that are appropriate for his age, height, strength level, etc. John will be doing bi-weekly one on one self defense lessons for the next few weeks and then some. As a grandma, I'm very happy my grandon is learning how to protect himself, confidence, how to get out of bully situations, etc.
