He was excellent and very professional. My project was installing a ceiling fan. After the installation was done, we had an issue functioning the fan. He found out that the receiver for the remote was broken. During that time, he did everything he can to find out what was causing the problem. Due to the broken receiver, it took an hour extra of work time but did not even complain. He also offered to come back again for free after I get a new receiver. On top of all of this, he fixed a minor electrical problem for free. I would definitely hire him again when I have other projects.

I had a several problems with my outdoor lighting and landscaping lights I hired two different electricians before hiring J.A electrical services one just couldn't find the problem and the other was asking way too much to trouble shoot . Then J.A stepped in and easily found the problem and made all repairs for a reasonable price.

The electrician diagnosed the cause of problem properly and made the necessary repairs. It should be noted that two other electricians and Con Edision were off in trying to figure out what was the cause of power outage. Very satisfied with result and will utilize DexWorks in the future for my electrical concerns.

I hired Kevin to install a chandelier. His quote was the most reasonable and he finished the project perfectly! I am thrilled. He stopped by the day prior to the job to take measurements and talk through the plan (where to place the switch, where to run the wires, etc). He showed up on time, got right to work and did not stop until complete. From start to finish (including invoicing/payment), it was less than 4 hrs. I am extremely happy I went with Kevin, who is a licensed electrician, b/c I received quotes from 3 other licensed electricians in the area (on Thumbtack) and they quoted upwards of $1200 for the job and estimated 6-8hrs to complete (this was originally for an in-wall installation). During my selection period, I gave them the same info and videos, that I gave Kevin, but their prices were still so much higher. For in-wall, Kevin quoted $300 (mine was a very light chandelier under 36 lbs). Kevin later suggested wire-molding where the wires would run along the surface of the wall, which requires no cutting into the walls or ceilings and quoted me about $250. Therefore, I asked for new quotes for wire-molding from the previous electricians, 1 of the other electricians returned with $1000+materials and another electrician came back around $800+materials and this is with NO cutting into walls and no patch work needed!!!! Kevin explained how the wire-molding would work and I did some research and found that there is no way this method is worth $800. So I hired Kevin and I LOVE the results. Bottom line: Kevin has the most fair prices, works efficiently, and the job was done perfectly. Beware of overinflated quotes from others.

Kenneth installed a lower window AC with support beam. From posting on Thumbtack to completion of the job all happened within one hour, which was fast, especially on a hot day. Prompt communication, great workmanship, and very polite. He also seemed to know a lot about different kinds of AC installation situations. I recommend Kenneth to anyone who needs one installed.

Multiple electrical jobs completed both indoor and outdoor for old and new construction for both my moms residence and mine. Response time was same day and appointments were fulfilled in less than a week. All jobs were successfully completed and there was never a need to return to fix any jobs we paid for. Also, when new electrical issues arose I was able to reach out for advisement. Prices were fair and competitive and service was high quality. All repairs were explained in lamens terms for easy understanding of problems and remedies. I have high standards with who I hire because there are a lot of scammers and low quality electricians and I don't like to pay twice. I would recommend this electrician to anyone and trust his work and feel safe having him handle all the electrical work for my home and my families homes. Cheaping out on electrical work means you pay later ....

I gave Dave a very difficult task of installing 2 ceiling fans in my apartment that has very old wiring. I had spoken with a few electricians and was given different answers as to how they would approach it. In other words there was more than one way to complete the task. Dave got the job done. It required many hours and a lot of physical endurance. Dave, himself is an endurance athlete and without that training, he may have cut corners or given up. He was a man of his word with the price and I have 2 working ceiling fans which I would not have been able to do myself

Dante was quoted me less than half of what other electricians were asking--and although he stayed an extra hour to help me install my lighting he stuck to his price. He did great work, very professional, and I won't be needing thumbtack to find an electrician for my future projects. I highly reccomend him.

I was extremely astonished when the technician showed up on time. I called them for a short notice job and fortunately Moe was accessible to check and repair our electric wire box. Touched base after about half an hour in our house and settled it in a matter of seconds! Completely astonished and happy with the service!

We have a commercial recording studio with a lower ceiling around the rim of the room. It has 14 recessed lights already installed in it, but they have no housing and are poor quality. We'd like to remove these lights and replace them with higher quality, attractive, recessed lights, preferably ones that can be tilted to point in different directions.
