- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing starts at a booking for one hour of solo performance. As more hours are booked, I offer more of a discount on the hourly rate. For example while one hour is $500, two hours may only be $700. This price is also subject to change based on how much travel is involved. Additionally as more musical pieces are added (Bass, piano, guitar, a vocalist, etc), so does the hourly rate as now I am paying multiple people as opposed to just one. I often times am working with clients who have never booked live music before, which is perfectly okay! I want to work with you to find a fair price that allows you to have music at your event! It's important to understand that high quality live music does come at a certain expense.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First comes a free consultation over zoom or phone call to get to know each other, discuss what kind of event you need music for and what kind of music you're looking for. Soon after this call I will send a quote along with a contract outlining all the details so there is no confusion. Once all the details are squared away, you get to look forward to enjoying some live music!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a lifetime of experience! I started on the pots and pans in my parent's kitchen. Soon after I began piano lessons and it has been a roller coaster ever since. I've been lucky to have many incredible music instructors over the years that eventually led to me being accepted to NYU's Jazz Studies program. Additionally, over the past 6 years I have worked for many of New York's premier talent agencies and due to this have performed at many of New York's most elite venues and developed a network of incredible musicians to call upon for your event!
