Ilana was our sommelier for a very “special wine tasting dinner” for a party of 12 at our home and she was just fantastic! She communicated very clearly from the start, was available to answer any questions over the phone and picked the perfect wines for our dinner menu and our group! She arrived very prepared and right on time, was very helpful and attentive throughout the evening and above all her presentation of the wines was truly fun and informative. She is a great storyteller and a genuinely nice person. Her professionalism, knowledge and work ethic immensely impressed us and our guests. We will certainly contact her and hire her again.

Ilana was terrific! I hired her to do a wine tasting for a group of friends. She asked for my ideas and developed a theme, including recommended food pairings. She arrived well organized and prepared. Her presentation was informative and engaging, and she handled the crowd well (which included a range of eager learners and enthusiastic chatters.) A number of my friends mentioned how much they enjoyed her talk and wine selections. I don’t often hire people online without a personal connection, but an earlier plan fell through and I found myself needing a sommelier with less than 2 week notice. She responded to my post quickly and was responsive throughout. I really appreciated that, and recommend her highly.
