My experience with this photographer at our recent corporate event was highly disappointing and has led me to advise strongly against hiring him for professional engagements. Despite having a clear written agreement outlining specific video and photo deliverables, the execution was far from satisfactory.
Firstly, the video deliverables promised to us were never provided, which was a significant letdown. The photos, while eventually delivered, were so delayed that we missed crucial marketing deadlines that were aligned with our corporate strategy. Such delays have not only caused frustration but have also had a tangible negative impact on our marketing efforts.
Communication—or the lack thereof—was another major issue. This photographer was extremely difficult to reach and did not communicate effectively throughout the process, leaving us in the dark about the status of our deliverables. It became apparent that he might be handling these assignments part-time, which could explain the lack of professional focus and commitment that one would expect for a corporate event.
Due to these issues, we are now faced with additional legal costs to enforce the agreement, a scenario that could have been avoided with a more reliable service provider. This experience strongly suggests that this photographer is not equipped to handle the specific needs of corporate events.
