Emily was fantastic in helping us tweak and add to our weddingdance. We met with her 4 times leading up to the day and she cleaned up and smoothed out what we had come up with and helped us practice and perfect the new moves she choreographed for us. Emily was great. She clearly knows how to dance and more importantly how to teach dancing. Lessons were perfectly paced and we learned how to dance before our wedding.
She helped with any anxiety we had about our skill levels and was a good presence to be around.
Lastly, she was open to adjusting our dance to fit our wants and needs: We wanted more spinning and she reworked it to add, we were self conscious about a certain step so she pared it way back.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to start out with a phone call so we can discuss exactly what you're looking for. You can let me know what song you're thinking of, the vibe of the dance you would like, and if you have any inspiration that you're working off. The more I know about what you're looking for the better. It's also good to know if you're both ready to dive in head first or looking to start slow and steady.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a professional Actress for 10 years. I've also been teaching people of all ages for over 15 years. From preschools to senior centers. I've worked at performing arts schools, private schools, private lessons, bat mitzvah dances, wedding dances, and more. I love working with beginners more than anything and showing them that they are capable of doing anything.
