We contacted this company a month before our wedding, and they fully delivered on teaching us a memorable routine! Ricardo created a routine for us appropriate for our level (we were complete beginners), and he taught us in what was effectively only four separate sessions. He had an upbeat attitude and made every lesson so much fun for us. The dance was so much fun to perform at our wedding, and we received many compliments that our dance truly reflected us as a couple. Katerina has been a very thorough and thoughtful dance instructor. It is obvious she has a passion for dance as it always shows in the lessons. Ekaterina is amazing. My husband and I wanted to learn a few basic moves for the first dance at our wedding - we didn’t want to take endless classes learning one step and mastering it, we just wanted to have a solid first dance! We only had four classes (as it was like literally 2 weeks before our wedding lol) and we had developed a great dance. Ekaterina was very easy to schedule with, provdided amazing instruction, and she is super positive which made it easy to learn. I highly recommend ekaterina for a dance lesson - whether you want to learn to seriously dance, or if you’re just looking to learn a dance for your first song. She is very flexible and has an adaptive teaching style. We actually had so much fun learning to dance with her, we will be going back!!

Arati is a fabulous dance instructor! My wife and I wanted to take some professional lessons for our first dance at our wedding and Arati showed us all of the basics we needed to know. We knew we didn't want to do a choreographed dance, but we didn't want to look sloppy either. Arati was fun and casual and didn't make us feel any pressure to perfect the moves. In the end, we felt very comfortable and 'put together' during our first dance! We recommend taking lessons with her, even if you don't have a formal event to practice for. It's great for couples to do as a fun activity together.

Arati is so professional and talented. She's also very flexible to work with and will cater dance lessons to your specific need. We wanted to do our first dance to "Can't Take My Eyes off of You" but were worried about how to dance to this since it is in 4/4 time. We'd also seen some not so great YouTube videos of choreo for this song. Arati immediately found a solution for this that ended up working so well and looked so classy! She taught us basics of waltz and payed attention to the nuances like posture, frame, and where the pressure points should be between you and your dance partner. She also taught my husband how to lead (and me, how to follow lol). We are so happy we know this now so we can dance together! Importantly, skills and quality aside, Arati is also a very professional, responsive, and lovely person. We had so much fun learning how to dance with her. Our dance lessons with Arati became more like a fun experience in and of themselves rather than just a process we had to go through to get a first wedding dance together. Highly recommend Arati for any dance lessons you're considering.

To make things more difficult, our song was an aggressive EDM song that had multiple different tempos. I knew I wanted a unique first dance after scouring Youtube for hours watching other couples' wedding videos. We hit it off with Dariusz after a short dance lesson and immediately signed up for 10 lessons. He had a great feel for what we could do and we were able to add layers of difficulty as we went through lessons. He had great advice about every aspect of our routine, worked around the song we wanted, and designed a great routine for us that really expressed our personality as a couple. Listen to the man, practice, and beam with pride when the compliments roll in!

We only have a week before leaving NYC for our wedding and just spent 2 hours with Cara to try to be a little bit more comfortable for our first dance. After the first hour we already knew how to walk in and had learnt a few routines that we will be able to repeat comfortably. Exactly what we wanted and so much fun! I was struggling to find a dance instructor in Manhattan. There are tons of instructors on here but many seem to hide their rates or charge crazy high prices. Also, I noticed many don’t seem to cater to first dances for weddings due to their skill set. I had abandoned the idea of dance lessons for our wedding due to our limited time and interactions on here. Then, pops up an email from Klaudia. She is highly qualified to teach a variety of styles of dance. Also, her prices are shared upfront and reasonable. She has a flexible schedule and teaches in a centrally located studio in Manhattan. She is very easy to reach so we were able to communicate quickly and arrange our first session. My fiancé and I showed up completely unsure of what to expect. She put us right at ease, listened to our song before we arrived and got right into her plan for our first dance. She’s extremely clear and takes your level of dance and ideas into consideration. At first we were so awkward dancing together but she consistently encouraged and motivated us. By the end of the session we were laughing and couldn’t wait to schedule our next meeting! We’ve met with her many times since and are excited to share our dance with our friends and family during our wedding. Klaudia has given my fiancé and I a new hobby we love together. I absolutely recommend Klaudia and am certain you should give her a try if you’re considering lessons!
