I have hired Yvonne on several occasions to perform decorative painting, plastering and house-painting within my condominium apartment. Yvonne is a terrific artist and is wonderful to work with: she is an expert with colors and very knowledgeable about repairing wall cracks. Moreover, she is meticulous about her work and understands how to work within an occupied apartment. Yvonne is a lovely person to work with, in that she is patient, reliable and completely trustworthy. I have been the President of a luxury condominium for many years and have heard horror stories from residents regarding their decorative painters. How did you get started doing this type of work?
After I graduated from the Royal Academy in The Hague, I enjoyed painting murals. This led to commissions and eventually branched out into decorative painting and gilding.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for references and make sure they are fully insured. Get everything in writing.
