Introduction: I have always believed in helping people find timeless, quality pieces that can be mixed and matched and taken from season to season. I like to focus on my clients needs and lifestyle and recommend items that are both versatile and fashion-forward. Some personal shoppers work off commission, which can easily sway them to have you make purchases that will ultimately benefit them. I work on an hourly rate, so my focus is not on how much you spend, but the quality of our time together. I get to combine my two favorite things in life...working with people and fashion. I love the challenge of helping people express themselves through fashion, which is what I've spent 17 years in personal shopping, retail, buying and styling.

Working with Lawrence has always been an easy, fun, entertaining experience. I'm an not the easiest person to please but Lawrence has been extremely patient with me. (The location of a button is very important to me) I needed a few special occasion outfits told him what I was looking for (but not really knowing what I was looking for.) He gave me a realistic budget and we set off for an afternoon of trying clothes, and shoes. He didn't force items on me that I didn't like and He helped me see different ways to wear clothes. "Just try it on" he would say and he was usually right about it. Working with Lawrence with any type of budget was the right choice. He narrows down the choices and helps you choose what is right for you. Christmas parties are coming and I know I will be the best dressed at my office party!! :)

I'm a southerner who relocated to the north. My wardrobe was not very functional for the weather. I booked Lawrence Styles and he helped me find clothing that was functional, stylish, and multipurpose. He's now on speed dial. I am always looking to expand my knowledge. Not only do I read books and research the internet for more information on personal shopping, but I stay current on all fashion trends and have a great appreciation for fashion history. Also, I have a strong network of professionals in the fashion industry that I work with to keep current.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone that makes you feel good. This is a very personal service you are asking for and it may get a little deeper than just finding a new top of pants - make sure this person is not judgmental, listens to your needs, and makes appropriate recommendations based on YOU, not just what they think.
