FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
You get a free 30-minute introductory meeting. The initial 60-minute planning meeting is billed at $400, with payment due at the 30-day mark, so there are no upfront fees. Additional meetings scheduled within the same 30-day window are discounted. Clients get access to financial planning tools at no extra cost. In addition to one-on-one sessions, there are self-directed and group options. Group sessions require payment prior to attending. There are no subscriptions, no retainers, no ongoing fees, no commissions, and no requirement to move assets or open accounts. With DIWY Financial Planning you get the tools and advice you need without ongoing fees. Plan for yourself—no by yourself™.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Virtual meetings by phone or video. Collaborative process. You need to have access to a laptop or desktop computer to work with me. After our initial consultation, we'll determine whether it might make sense to work together. If we decide to schedule a follow up meeting, I'll gather additional information and deliver a preliminary proposal at the second meeting. If you decide to hire me after the second meeting, you'll sign an engagement contract and pay the fee at the end of the 30-day initial engagement (Engagement period starts on the date of the second meeting). After the initial engagement, you might decide to connect for occasional "check-ups". You'll only pay a fee, if and when we meet.
