Stas was so effective and so helpful--he hung paintings for us, installed a vintage heavy lighting fixture, and assembled furniture. He couldn't possibly have done a better job or been better to work with.

Stas is one of the best handymen I have used over the years. He also had an assistant trainee whom he sent ahead to do some work without charging me more than the hourly rate. Both were easy to deal with, accomplished a number of small tasks I could not do myself — from rotating a heavy mattress, removing a wall light fixture, hanging drapes and bedroom curtains, lowering a closet rail, reinstalling a portable air conditioner exhaust in the window and connecting devices to my new OLED tv and a remote for my living room lamps. The vcr/Dvd combo to tv required a converter that I did not have, so he offered to come back to finish that task when the converter I ordered arrived. He certainly does provide value for his hourly fee. I would not hesitate to use him for a range of home improvement projects.

Stas Craftsman hung up art in our apartment and was amazing. He was focused and considerate of our home. He asked our input before doing anything and left the walls clean. He even went out of his way to remove an old screw and covered up old holes from a prior installation. When we had an issue with a screw, he kept trying until he was able to get it out (rather than just saying it wasn't possible). He was quick, efficient and everything looked great when he left. Would absolutely recommend him and will use him again in future.
