They did the service for me on November 2104, in our apartment in the Upper East in Manhattan. My wife and I got the recommendation about Velvet Wood Floor by friends who used their services to refinish their wood floor after they entered their new apartment in Brooklyn. They said that the floor was a disaster, since the previous owner had 3 dogs, who scratched the floor, and it looked like a mess. But this company really did a great job and we should consider using their services. I called and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Josef was very friendly, and said that the refinishing job will take 3 days. When I asked him why other companies promised to do the same job in one day, he said that in order to do it the right way, 3 days are the minimum. We agreed about the price, and they started working the next day. When I saw the refinished floor for the first time I couldnt believe it could look like that. It looked just like new, that if Josef would of tell me that they completely replaced the floor and installed a new one I would believe it.

Our wood floor looked very bad after a long winter in NYC, and we wondered if there is something that can be done to make it look alive again, or if we are going to have to install a new wood floor. We own a big show room in NYC and during the winter the condition of the floor get worst, with water and the dirt that people bring in their shoes. If you live in NYC, you probably know what I am talking about. We met with Josef and with few more wood floor contractors, and we collected few estimates and quotes. I cant say that Velvet Wood Floor were the cheapest, but they did offer to complete the service at the shortest time, so we agreed to go with them. To make a long story short. From now on we intend to use Velvet Wood Floor every spring, right after the winter. I believe this tell you everything about their service.
