Introduction: THE WHY?
Anything you are training for in life comes from a passion within: a passion to move, a passion to grow, a passion to succeed. Why my clients personal train isn't just to push the limitations of their own athleticism; it's because they have a passion to push the limitations of their mind, body, and spirit. I believe MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE - a medicine to fuel your passion for life, spirit, physical body, emotional, or spiritual. Medicine to heal, to grow, to laugh, and to learn.
Caroline makes your personal training experience easier by offering a plethora of options that work for you, whether its traveling directly to your residence, by working in one of several semi-private locations, or by offering complete online training via zoom or an online training programming platform. Alongside each option, are also differences in price. Caroline believes everybody deserves access to a healthy life via fitness and nutrition, and strives her best to make it achievable for her clients. She has been training herself for upwards for 15 years, as well as working with trainers herself for upwards of two. She has a knowledge that continues to grow with various athletic, wellness, and nutritional studies, providing a well rounded and wide collection of knowledge and ideas, that she caters to make your experience the most pleasant and personal as possible.
Caroline genuinely cares about each client individually, as most of her clients have been with her for over 2-5 years. She provides individual attention, as well as additional check-in's and support throughout the week, whether that be checking nutrition homework, helping with exercise programs outside of training sessions, or other wellness needs. Each individual client has individual strengths and weaknesses, which Caroline hones in on, pushing you in directions you need and directions you never thought were possible. Caroline also pays direct attention to your goals, and provides extensive plans and roadmaps for you to undoubtedly get there.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
As a competing athlete and with a background in musical theatre, Caroline specializes in helping sport-specific athletes, strength based clients, powerlifters, clients with aesthetic goals, clients with shape-shifting goals, beginners, and those with yoga and dance backgrounds. She also holds two nutrition certifications, making any nutrition help or question within reach and practice.
Her first priorities are safety, fun, and learning something new every session. Caroline believes that multiple components must be in play for a successful and safe fitness routine. In a singular session, Caroline may combine strength exercises, as well as circuits to help burn fat, flexibility, stability, and even agility work - all to enhance your personal wellness, self, and work towards your individual goals. She prevents injury by working through consistent and important warmups, as well as providing yoga stretch routines and the end of sessions to aide in a well needed cool down.
Progressions come with time and with readjustments. Before any progression, Caroline has you master the fundamentals and basics to any movement : whether that be the deadlift or the plank, Caroline makes sure you're well equipped to move onto the next progression safely and enthusiastically.
In terms of measuring progress, Caroline is well versed in taking extensive notes to note your progression in strength, endurance, and even ways to measure body fat (if your goal is losing body fat and getting toned). She will encourage you via her notes and via your homework to keep going and heading in your individual direction - progress is made via consistency, not quick fixes and fads!
WHAT MAKES HER DIFFERENT
Caroline comes with a hunger to learn, to study, and to diversify her practices. She comes with an imagination and understanding of the human body to be able to specifically design programs and routines for YOU!
What makes her different and diverse in her plans is her knowledge of machines, barbells, kettlebells, TRX, gliders, slides, yoga hoops, blocks, resistance bands, agility ladders, and more. Caroline is ready to incorporate everything she and you feels like you need to succeed and make the positive changes you want and deserve in your life.
Caroline additionally holds multiple specific certifications, such as a Powerlifting Certification, Sports Nutrition Certification, Pre/Post Natal, Precision Nutrition 1, and a basic kettlebell certification.
