I took GMAT tuition from Arbor Tutors. My tutor was excellent! He helped me to gain a solid grasp of the fundamental concepts to ace my test. The tuition was customized to focus on areas I needed help on. I will turn to Arbor Tutors the next time I need a tutor. I recommend them.

Jeremy is very knowledgable, professional education coach who has mastered his field of child tutoring. Aside from being a fine math tutor, he is also helping our child with organization skills. Even though he is new to us, I can say that he is dedicated and dependable. There are no screaming matches in the house regarding her math work and she has started enjoying math which is a big plus. I would highly recommend Jeremy without any reservations. Regarding his fees; you may find a range of tuition fees on thumbtack but essentially you get what you pay for. Having a professional business myself I can tell you that he is certainly worth your child's education and self esteem Dr. K

Sasha is a phenomenal math tutor. She is patient, knowledgeable and extremely gifted in simplifying complex concepts. I would go to class understanding topics that other students struggled with. To put it simply, she is professor quality at the price of an affordable tutor. No disappointments, no areas of improvement needed.

I have worked with other tutors in the past, and Kamil has outshined them all. I loved that Kamil already had a course designed for me, along with all the materials needed - taking the guesswork out of how to prepare. Kamil is dedicated and flexible, making it super easy work together. Kamil's enthusiasm and mastery of the GRE gives you the confidence and skills needed for test day, as well as making it fun (!) in the process. For anyone serious about improving their GRE score, I highly recommend working with Kamil!

I studied with James for my SATs. He has a very unique way of approaching the exam that my prior tutors did not offer. For example, he taught me how to analyze questions based on the way they are written. This was a great skill to have and made me much more confident about going into the test room.

Unfortunately I was not able to hire Dr Fikar for my LSAT tutoring as he was out of my price range and about a 45 min drive away from my home. However, I could tell from our telephone conversation that he is effective, efficient and confident. I am praying that the person I did hire will help me achieve my required result as I have no doubt in my mind Dr Fikar would have. If money was not an issue, I would have hired him hands down!!

One of the best tutors my daughter ever had. She struggled with the sat for a year until we found him. He made lessons around her needs and that helped her do well. She was able to get into the college she wanted.

Justin has been an excellent tutor. My daughter has learned so much from him within a few short weeks. The difference from the last tutor is unbelievable. We expect her scores to rise drastically. I would recommend his tutoring to anyone looking for excellent instruction.

I highly recommend Horace, he is an amazing tutor! Horace helped me improve my score from a 570 to a 710 after just a couple of weeks of tutoring sessions! He is very patient and strategic in his approach. He made sure to understand my testing strengths and weaknesses and tailored his approach to meet my needs. He was also very accessible and invested in my success - he spent several hours sitting through practice exams with me (via virtual sessions) so he could get a real sense of where I needed to improve and spent several hours reviewing both incorrect answers as well as correct answers that I could be answering more quickly or more efficiently. I can honestly say I would not have scored a 700+ score without Horace in my corner.

John definitely is a good tutor in the sense that he has smart strategies to help students improve. I think he was very resourceful and patient when I worked with him in trying to help me understand my mistakes. He wasn't stingy in terms of time either and certainly wanted me to succeed. Something I think John can improve on, however, is making the life of his students a tad easier. What I mean by that is that he sometimes makes working with him a bit of a challenge. Often he would respond to emails late or send graded material over days late. There were things that he said he would send over but it seems he has completely forgotten about it. I completely understand his other obligations in terms of family and work but it's a little disheartening to see that at a point he ceased sending over things he initially promised. Maybe he has a lot of other obligations on his schedule and I understand that, however, I wish he would make this more clear if it were the case. Anyway, if you need extra support with LSAT tutoring I would recommend him for his skills and strategies.

Samantha has been an excellent ACT tutor for me. While most tutors simply teach you a standard curriculum and simply reveal answers to wrong questions, she makes sure that what you learn is understood properly and can be practically used, and really goes in depth in going through your mistakes. This ensures that you don't repeat the same mistakes for similar questions in the future.

I worked with one of the tutors for a graduate statistics course last semester. I was so pleased with the results I continue to use them for my second graduate Stats course this semester. The tutor is very knowledgeable & using this service boosts my confidence for the course.

Tristan tutored my son for his SAT's and did a fabulous job. My son was not confident when he first took them and he had not studied. I felt that for him to have a chance at a higher score he needed one on one tutoring. Even though Tristan resided in Connecticut and my son in Long Island, Tristan took the challenge and tutored my son via Skype. Xavier recently took the SAT's again in January and his score were raised over 100 points. Tristan only tutored my son for six weeks. I wonder how many more points my son would of raised his score if he had been tutored by Tristan longer. I attribute my son 's success to Tristan and his patience and diligence with my son. He was always on time and professional. He provided written reports after each session and kept me abreast of what he would target with Xavier to improve his scores. I am very happy that I chose Tristan to tutor my son. His prices were very reasonable and he was knowledgeable and kind towards my son. I recommend him and his organization to anyone he wants to help their child succeed. So far my son has been admitted to two private colleges and he has received grants. Thank you Tristan! I think any adult who pays to study a test just goes to show how important the test is to the person who may be feeling uncertain about him/herself or perhaps some aspects of the test. Hence, I believe the greatest value of a tutor is his ability to motivate his students to the next level of learning and to feel confident in tackling the test. And that is exactly what I found in Fred. I was feeling apprehensive after attempting some questions on the mock GRE test. But now, with the support of Fred, I feel very confident and that confidence motivated me to want to do my very best. So from the bottom of my heart.. Thank you Fred for sharing my journey to a self actualisation need.
