We removed "popcorn" ceiling texture in three rooms. The ceiling was uneven and very rough! Jud-the-Painter to the rescue!! He did superior workmanship!! He worked very well with us; giving great suggestions when we had questions on what direction to take! We provided the products and he was willing to work with whatever we purchased. He is a craftsman!! We will hire him again - no doubt!!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I receive magazines and look online for new ideas and better ways of doing this kind of work. I also ask anyone I know to be more knowledgeable then me on how to deliver a better product or faster way to get it done. I also am concerned about health and the environment and have looked into "green" paints and less toxic alternatives

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My uncle hired me when I was a teenager. I later went to Los Angeles and got work with a contractor there when I was 22. Since then I kept at it because I like to do it and I prefer the independence over a 9-5 job. I also like to take something and make it better. Paint and plaster creates a more livable space for my customers and protects their investments

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions! I don't mind answering them. If I am not certain I can deliver the product you need, then I will find a qualified person to do it. I would rather be honest and tell you it is beyond my expertise then lie and try to get the job. I also prefer to have everything in writing and take out any future confusions on what is needed and wanted from you
