Diane is very professional, courteous, and personable. I hired her to help organize my closets to serve multiple purposes. She offered great suggestions right away and helped me strategically plan the spaces for the future. She even helped me do a quick re-organization of my bedroom closet and desk during our first meeting. Picture Hanging and Art Installation
I hired Diane to help me hang some pictures and in the end, she helped me find the best places in my apartment, organize some furniture to create a better hanging space, fix a bunch of lightbulbs, and generally do everything that needed done in my apartment at the time! She was lovely with me and my kids, who got involved at various times, and thought nothing of going to get a longer extension cord or her other drill to make sure the job was done correctly. Our rates are low compared to a life coach or design professional. Our rates are high compared to a home organizer. We charge a flat hourly rate to ensure you get exactly the services needed to get your apartment the way you want it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A two-hour strategy session enables us to get to know one another and identify your goals. Your project is unique to you so the outcome of this session is completely custom. Scheduling a future work session, providing closet designs and furniture recommendations by email, and putting you in touch with other professionals to resolve issues outside our scope are common deliverables.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?Diane has managed the New York spaces for diverse brands such as Google and Chanel. She also has a technical background from her years working on historic restoration projects in Central Park and at Columbia University. She studied installation art (a combination of sculpture and architecture) at Bard College with a focus on the way spaces can evoke emotions. She also studied construction project management at New York University.
