She is there every step of the way with me. She works me hard. If feel that she really cares about me and my health. always asking me what I ate because she knows that it's my down fall. she gave me a menu for a week of meals. she has a great app. She comes to mu house and we do all kinds of different exercises. I really like her a lot. My other personal trainer did nothing for me. same exercises all the time - she is on another level. She is worth every dollar that i spend. I signed up for 13 sessions but know that i will do another 13 when these are finished.

i have been training with Brenda for 9 months now and she is great! Before Brenda, I did have a very good trainer in another city but then I moved to NYC, so I knew what the standard was for someone who would push you but also understand your personal needs and tailor the workout to make sure you are satisfied. I used Thumbtack to find a trainer and read positive reviews about Brenda and decided to give it a try--she has lived up to all expectations. Her schedule is flexible so she can meet you when and where is best for you (some trainers' schedules are too packed and if you're 5 minutes late, they take 5 min off the end of your session, or do not let you reschedule a session without giving you a hard time). She tailors the workouts so if you want to do something on a particular day or are feeling a bit sore in one area, she will work around that but still make sure you are getting an intense workout. Brenda is friendly and personable to talk to and will advise you on anything from nutrition to specific workout regimens to improve a muscle group. It's important to find a trainer who you really get along with and feel comfortable around, and I have found it very easy to work with Brenda. I'm 100% satisfied--highly recommended!

My experience with Brenda has been great! I do not exaggerate when I say that she has changed my life for the better. Brenda is super approachable and has a heart of gold, but she is also extremely knowledgeable and takes her job very seriously. It’s the perfect combination! I reached out to Brenda, because I needed to lose weight in order to fit into my bridesmaid’s dress. Over the course of about two months, I was able to lose more than 20 pounds with her guidance. The dress fit like a glove! The picture is of a different dress I wore soon before and again soon after my trainig sessions. I recommend Brenda if you’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping others achieve their goals, who is knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition, who will answer all of your questions even outside the gym, who will tailor a plan for you that is effective, who will be friendly but will also push you as needed, someone who is working alongside you and not just barking directions at you when you’re working out. It is obvious to me that Brenda cares about her clients and isn’t merely trying to collect a paycheck. I am grateful to have found such a wonderful trainer. Thank you for everything, Brenda!

Brenda is an excellent personal trainer and the best personal trainer I have ever had. She is knowledgeable and flexible to individual clients’ needs. Brenda has adjusted routines throughout my pregnancy, surgical recovery, various orthopedic injuries (wrist tendinitis, ankle sprain, knee strain, back pain) and keeps our sessions new and fresh even after more than 4 years together. Training with Brenda always challenges me and pushes me passed where I would go myself and in a safe and effective way. I appreciate her willingness to come train almost any day or time. It is clear how much she cares for her clients’ well being - mentally and physically. I would recommend to anyone looking to elevate their fitness. Thanks Brenda!!!

After training witb Brenda for about 4 months I have noticed significant results. Brenda always makes sure to mix up the workouts and always makes sure I get a full body workout. She pushes me to always make the best of every session. Not only is she a great trainer, but she is punctual, professional and flexible.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    The first thing would be to have you fill out a PFP (Personal fitness Profile) which is a health and history form. It is important that I know what your goals are, what is your workout experience, and if you have any injuries. After I will have you record a 3 day food journal and I need you to be completely honest and thorough. If you eat a peanut write it down. In my experience most people eat larger quantities then they should. I will also take measurements and pictures. It helps to have quantifiable data. I will put you through a 20 minute workout. In the workout I will see how strong you are and your endurance levels. I like to be thorough. After I get a complete picture of your goals, etc... then I will put together a fitness and nutrition regimen that absolutely help you achieve your goals.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I weighed 235 lbs and I lost approximately 100 lbs in 6 months. It was then that I decided to help others achieve their weight loss goals in a safe and timely manner. I wouldn't recommend losing 100lbs in 6 months like I did. I exercised for three hours a day and kept a very strict diet. If you want to lose anywhere from 5-100 lbs, I'm your gal.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I would like to work with everybody but I usually do not work with anyone who is extremely young. I like my clients to be committed and in my experience most teenagers aren't unless they are athletes. I usually work with women and men who are over 35 years of age, professionals with families who lead extremely busy lives.
