I took up an offer Jamie made on Instagram for a free trial online group class. I honestly wasn't expecting to get much out of it but I was so wrong. Jamie explains moves in ways that's really easy to understand so I found myself actually feeling my muscles activate in exercises I had tried and failed activate muscles with before. Thank you Jamie! I learnt more in that 35 mins than I have in my lifetime haha I would 100% recommend Jamie's classes to anyone who is looking for a personal trainer, beginner or otherwise :)May 13, 2020Review from GoogleJamie Song Personal Trainer Strength ✗ Physique's reply
It was a pleasure having you in class! Thank you for your review, Hope to see you in future classes, Stay safe and active ✨
Jamie is the best personal trainer I’ve ever had. I appreciate her thoughtful planning of exercises which helps to keep the reps interesting, not boring like just repeating the same thing over and over, hoping the workout would be over already. Instead, I am surprised that the whole session has gone by so fast without me wishing it’s be over already! For someone who gets bored very easily during gym workouts, like me, this has been super helpful to stick to the workouts. Also, Jamie gives a good explanation of what each movements are supposed to look like, targeting a specific muscle/ muscle group incorporating anatomy. It really helps to fully understand what each movements are supposed to do/ supposed to look like because before, I was just doing things on my own thinking it’d get the job done, but instead I was injuring myself. I highly enjoy her style of teaching,i kindness, and thoroughness.May 16, 2020
During quarantine I wanted to start working out at home but I just couldn’t motivate myself.. so I decided to look for a trainer. I reached out to Jamie and I am so glad I did! You can tell Jamie cares about her clients and she gives great feedback on the spot if your doing an exercise wrong. Highly recommended!May 14, 2020
If you are looking for a pt who is personal, who cares and help you work towards reaching your specific targeted goals, Jaime is your go-to pt! Jaime personally stood out to me as I could see that she was very genuine, friendly even though you just met and keeps emphasising the importance of your form.May 14, 2020
I have been taking one-on-one sessions with Jamie for about 3 months now, and I can already see a difference in my physical strength and overall health. Jamie is an excellent trainer, who provides not only clear instructions about the exercise and the form but also an explanation of muscles at work. This helps me focus on relevant muscle groups and get the most out of each routine. The tempo of her classes is just right, and her means of motivating me to push myself has worked very well for me. Jamie is an absolute professional, and I know from her messages on my rest days that she is constantly thinking about how to ramp up my exercise routines. During this quarantine period, Jamie has been ingenious with making the most out of glute loops, resistance bands and a simple chair! I’m certainly going to continue training with Jamie to meet my health goals I set out to achieve right before she started training me.May 25, 2020

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Online Training: Please see the pricing menu in the Photo section. Multiple sessions packages offer discounts. In-Person Training (this service will resume once COVID-19 is over): The rates depend on the location. If you prefer to train at your own gym (residential / commercial), there will be no extra charge. If we are using a private gym, there will be extra charge. Private gyms in NYC typically charge less for bulk packages (similar to my pricing model), so let's discuss your options in more in detail when we meet based on how often you would like to train.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Initial consultation: We'll spend the entire session, talking about you. Your short-term and long-term goals (we'll really dive in to be very specific), exercise history, medical history, current activity level, current diet, time availability, location, training progression (what each day / weekly / monthly program will look like). If you decide to train with me, we'll also discuss the actual logistics of our first training session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?•National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer •Yoga Teacher - RYT-200
