About
You deserve superior programming, undivided attention, and most importantly, someone who is with you every step of the way. My obsession with understanding exactly how you want to look and feel, separates me from the pack. Whether you're someone who is looking to completely transform their physique, build a sustainable exercise routine, or coming back from an injury, I take the time to get you feeling and looking your best. All I need is your trust, hard work and determination! Here's the process: 1. Assess: Evaluating your movement is a crucial part of creating an effective and progressive exercise program. During your consultation, we will discuss your goal(s) and go through an extensive assessment to establish a baseline for future mobility and strength gains. Besides, it's always fun to look back and see how far you've come! 2. Program: Anyone can give you a hard workout and have you crawling out of the gym, but the beauty behind having a skillful coach is their ability to create safe and strategic programs to get the very best out of your genetic potential. My training centers around proven methods that will have you feeling and looking your best. 3. Consistency: While I meticulously track your weight, measurements, and strength, there is one thing I ask from you: consistency. When it's all said and done, this triumphs all. Consistency is the glue that holds everything together. 4. Fun: Part of making exercise sustainable is creating routines that are enjoyable. The human body adapts to a given stimulus quickly and the mind gets bored doing the same routine so I like to use routines that are effective while keeping it fresh. You can expect a different exercise program every six to eight weeks. Let's work! Aside from my strength training, I also offer a unique blend of boxing and strength training. Most of my clients who want to reap the benefits of a heart pumping, calorie burning sport, all while learning sweet science of boxing, do so with a mix of strength training to learn self defense, work on their endurance, and better their physique. Boxing is also an ideal stress reliever! I trained with former WBA light heavyweight world champion Lou Del Valle. Lou has worked in Floyd Mayweather's gym in Las Vegas where he trained former world champion Badou Jack. Aside from my training with Lou, I've spent countless hours studying both amateur and professional fighters inside the well known Morris Park Boxing Club. Having an experienced trainer who's been in the ring (and taken some punches) and has learned from the greats, puts you in a position to be successful. They don't call it a "science" for nothing. It takes time to learn how to defend yourself and you'll have someone teaching you everything you need to know if and when you decide to step in the ring....or if you need to use what you learn outside of the ring too. Hopefully that's never the case!

Ive been training with Kenny for couple of years now. As an athlete Ive dealt with injuries and step backs but once Ive decided to take this journey with Kenny he made sure I would come back as my greatest. The way he structures my workouts and the dedication he puts into me or any other clients is phenomenal. This is a trainer beyond knowledge of just putting you into shape, he will coach you about nutrition, daily stretches and anything really if you just ask. You will definitely find your anchor and motivation during every session because every workout is different and fun. I have to say Ive never felt this great, both physically and mentally since the start of this journey. I highly recommend anyone whos looking for a trainer to go to Kenny, hes not only my trainer but we built more of a friendship/brotherhood relationship. Couldnt ask for better results and a better trainer. Keep it up my friend!

I started training with Kenny about 3 years ago, and have been been very happy with the results! Kenny is fantastic, and provides the right mix of challenging workouts (he knows how to get you to push your limits) as well as the encouragement to get through them. Particularly love the boxing sessions. Kenny also gives me workouts to use at my home gym, which has been helpful in reinforcing the training sessions.Updating to add that my positive review is only underscored by Kenny's treatment of a recent injury. He has been great about adapting my program (safely and efficiently!), making sure to check in away from the gym, and encouraging me to keep at it. Highly recommend.

Kenny Guzman can only be described as one thing, committed to his craft. I was never a fan of truly working out, and at some points you can say Im still not, but I do like the results. I started with Kenny in the beginning of the summer knowing that I needed to change my body for my health. I was gaining weight which was making life difficult as my clothes started to get tighter, and I felt sluggish. Kenny took his time with me 3-4 times a week and allowed me to go at my own pace with the occasional increase in intensity so I actually lost weight. What I liked about getting trained with Kenny is that he put my health into perspective. He allowed me to see how important it is to actually work the full body out instead of only doing push-ups and what kind of foods I should be eating to maximize my weight loss. Every day with Kenny wasnt a waste because of the weight loss Ive experienced now. What I know is that if you want to work, then Kenny will study your body so that he can get you where you want to be. Hes encouraging and doesnt allow the pain of working out to hold me back as hes very engaging through the process. Ive been with him for about 8 months and Im glad that I made not only the choice to train with Kenny, but I made the choice to put my health first. Kenny is worth the time and money because I know that when you decide to choose him, he wont make you regret it. He truly cares about me and his other clients. This isnt something he woke up out of bed and decided to do, this is his life. The cardio and muscular work with a hint of boxing really allowed my body to be worked out in many ways in which I needed. Theres still more work to be done, but I know Kenny will be right there with me through the journey.

I’m a 45 year old female who had already given up on exercise after my knees have been injured and after another life changing major surgery....but then I met Kenny. He is wonderful and made me believe again. He designed an exercise program tailored around my injuries (back, shoulder, and especially my knees). At the beginning some movements were bothering me, but he immediately readjusted my program. He makes me feel very comfortable and he’s very knowledgeable and understanding. Choose Ken Method! You won’t regret it!

Iris! Thank you so much for being patient through the process. I know how difficult it can be working out with injuries, and although I’ve said it many times before, I’ll say it again - I am SO proud of you. Despite all your injuries, you placed your trust in me and for that I am forever thankful. You know just how important communication is during the journey and you let me know right away what movements were bothering you. That dialogue is a major part of progress!
