- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The initial consultation is where we sit down, and get to know each other. Tell me what exercise you hate, tell me what your favorite snack is. I'm all ears. If we're going to get you to where you want, the journey shouldn't be excruciating. I am not a drill sergeant. You can expect to have someone not only is extremely knowledgable but someone who cares about what's holding you back. During the consultation we'll also talk about your exercise history, things that have and have not worked for you in the past, nutrition, injuries and anything else you want to fill me in on. The consultation includes reviewing your goals, body analysis and measurements, and a functional movement screening, followed by a personalized workout. We'll even chat about creating personalized workouts for you to do on the days you don't see me.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am certified in personal training and corrective exercise through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Aside from thousands of hours of personal training, I have a B.A in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition and Exercise Science.
