- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
These are my general rates for training in a gym in Midtown: 1 hour sessions • 1 session x $175 = $175 • 4 sessions x $165 = $660 • 8 sessions x $155 = $1240 • 12 sessions x $145 = $1740 • 16 sessions x $135 = $2160 • 20 sessions x $125 = $2500 My prices vary for apartment gyms depending on location. I also offer alternative pricing for recurring payments, 30 minute or 1:30 hour sessions, semi-private training, small group training, stretch sessions etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I proceed with an initial consultation to go through the clients goals, exercise history, nutrition and any injuries/ limitations. After this, I would ideally perform a body composition assessment to find out the clients weight, muscle mass and body fat percentage. Next I would carry out a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to see how well the clients moves through different movement patterns by assessing the clients Deep Squat, Single Leg Stability, Ankle/ Hip/ Shoulder Mobility, Upper Body Strength and Rotary Core Stability. Based on this information, I would write a training program for the client and we would get started with personal training or online coaching. I can also calculate how many calories and macronutrients clients should be eating per day and make a meal plan if desired.
