- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a discount for an extended caring period; 10% for visits of more than a week and 20% for over two weeks. Visits for less than one week are not discounted.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I talk, text or email with the owner and then go meet the pet in person to see if the pet accepts me as a potential caregiver while they are alone at home waiting for their owners return. Being alone at home is very stressful for many pets and to have someone they accept and like is very important for their happiness and health. For walks with dogs I only walk one dog at a time to give this pet my full attention. I do not walk dogs in a pack.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with many animals, dogs, cats, fish, birds and other small animals (guinea pigs, hamster, turtles, rabbits) and also studied biology. Therefore I have a good understanding of when an animal isn't feeling well and what their needs are in general. Besides I love animals.
