Hello Review Reader! Three days ago I moved to NYC from L.A. The big name movers broke parts of my Essex by Steinway baby grand piano and inaccurately reassembled her. I searched for repair online, and as a new neighbor, I was forced to trust reviews. And I am so glad I did. When Scott arrived, it was day 3 of unpacking. I told him this is the absolute worse you will ever see me. He smiled kindly, then got to work on the piano. Keys were frozen and had lifted above the rest of the keyboard. A section was broken. The pedals didn't connect. The movers did a terrible job. I feared the worse. Scott got to work, disassembling it methodically. Repairing broken parts with glue, magic and what have you. Then he started reassembling her all over again, then finally tuned her to pitch I was stunned at the transformation. Scott is a musician from Nashville who loves musical instruments. He also charged me an extremely fair price, less than my repair/tuner in Los Angeles. We had a terrible move in and Scott made me a believer once again in good karma plus the importance of reading reviews from actual clients. A wonderful person and the best "blind hire" I ever did. Eternally grateful.

Scott was terrific to work with for my piano move from NY to MA. He was very responsive and very easy to schedule with. His colleagues arrived on time, delivered the piano on time and were impressively efficient. Overall this team was a pleasure to work with!

Needed to move a piano on short notice. Scott from BPR was very responsive and flexible. The movers were able to fit us into their packed schedule, and their costs were still on the low-end of the rates I saw. Definitely a team worth working with again.

Scott is a super efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and just generally wonderful person! I highly recommend him for any and all piano tuning and service needs! He tuned my (somewhat) disastrous piano, diagnosed why it was in said condition, and gave me tips on how to manage the condition of the piano and how the condition of the piano can be improved! He also played quite a few lovely chords that were very enjoyable to listen to as he was tuning the piano :)
