Piano Tuning
Andrew Brandt did an excellent job tuning my piano. He arrived on time and spent an hour working to put my piano back in excellent form. Communication to set up appointment was done with ease. Highly recommended!

Piano Tuning
Amazing tuner and super value for money. I’ve tried many tuners (I’m a piano teacher in Nyc for the past 7 years) and I can say that the experience working with Andrew has been the BEST experience so far. He was very responsive and was punctual. My piano hasn’t been tuned in a while (probably a year or so) because every tuner I’ve tried just ends up making it sound meh. The piano sounds amazing now. Will be referring him to my students. Highly recommend.

Piano Tuning
Andrew was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided options on how to tune my piano to fit my needs on how I will be using the piano. We definitely hire him again

Piano Tuning
Everything was great. My old beater of a piano was beastly far out of tune and within an hour he had it nicely sorted out. Setting up an appointment took a few days to sort out as his schedule came together, but communication was always quick and clear and once we settled on a time, he was punctual, polite, efficient and wore a mask.

Piano Tuning
Very gracious young man who was immediately responsive and attentive. He has a notable music background, which obviously serves him well in his approach to tuning the piano with an application in his iPhone and a tuning lever/hammer. He took his time about being precise and thorough. We're happy with how we were able to communicate with him through "Thumbtack" and how he responded and kept in intermittent touch until he arrived.

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The charge for a standard piano tuning is based on a 90 min appt for the tuning and includes travel time/cost and also minor adjustments and repairs to the piano. If the piano is quite out of tune a pitch raise (essentially a preliminary tuning) may be necessary for an additional $40. My ultimate goal is to leave the client satisfied with a playable instrument that sounds great.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I have a customized approached with every customer. I attempt to get to know the piano history, issues/problems with the instrument, and also the expectations of the customer. I will give my honest opinion on any repair or difficult tuning and have a satisfaction guarantee to make sure the customer is pleased with the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I completed an apprenticeship under a piano technician in my home state of Wisconsin, and furthered my study through practical application as a pianist, accompanist, composer and music teacher. I have worked and trained with multiple piano companies and factories including Steinway & Sons
