Ismael was especially professional and thoughtful. He covered everything with plastic to avoid getting dust onto my furniture and carpet. He also covered his feet to avoid tracking dust and plaster. In terms of the wall plastering, he talked me through the process, checked in throughout, and took time to make the repair the best it could be. I'd definitely recommend him!

We posted a request looking for a Plaster specialist,we clearly stated on the job description,No painters,Handymen.as this is a duplication of an 1860 Plaster molding which takes a lot of skill and expertise. We clearly informed this company that they were not suitable as they do not have the expertise and do not do this type of work every day. Because of this they seemed to have a severe attitude problem. Why. Every job is not suitable for every company so stick to what you know and move on. No work was actually done here.

Steve did some great plastering, painting and re-caulking for us and he worked very hard to strip 83 years of paint off of two old windows. Always friendly and helpful, Steve offers a good range of redecorating skills at fair prices. I would recommend him.

I would absolutely recommend Steve. We had 16 five inch holes throughout our apartment after an electrical job. He was super efficient and fast. He didn't have our paint color but went to the store and mixed an exact match. He uses a special methodology for plastering walls so everything is dry and painted within 3 hrs. Impressive!

Beware. Steve comes across as nice guy, actually he's a serial liar. He showed up late for appointments and to start on his 1st day. Like hours late with odd excuses. His 1st day he came, we ordered paint, he laid down some paper, then left . Next day he showed up 2.5 hours late, painted a closet (getting paint all over the floor & over the hardware) then said he would come early the next day. He left paint & plaster residue in my bathroom sink. Oh I forgot to mention he told me that 'china white' paint color is gray after I told him I wanted a very light gray.. well it's not. I got stuck with 5 gallons of useless paint & eventually had to get new paint. That's after I had to hire another painter. Anyways, he came the 3rd day (3.5 hours late) and said his back hurt. He paced around my apartment for about an hour doing no work and said he needed to go home & rest. He said he had slipped on the subway stairs the previous morning, needed some time to rest and wold be back in a week. I asked for my deposit back & told him I was canceling the check I had just given him until he was ready to work. I had just given him a $1k check that day plus $500 in cash the 1st day. He agreed and went across the street to the atm & came back with $400 of the $500. Made up some story they only would let hem take out $400. He forgot that he had already told me he only had $200 on him, so for normal non liars 200 + 400= 600. I let it go, so many lies at that point to keep track. Keep in my mind my place was a mess at this point with holes all over to due scraping, 1/2 completed front closet & everything was covered and sitting in the middle of my apartment. Now I had to wait a week or more for this guy. I found someone else pick up & start the job and notified him of that. I told him maybe he could do some other work when he was ready like Venetian plaster or hang wall paper. I then started to receive calls from a check cashing place that I owed them money. He apparently cashed the checked after I told him I was putting a hold on it, and took $1k from an unsuspecting check cashing place knowing a stop was to be put on it, telling them a story he did the job & didn't know why a stop was put on. He then proceeded to give them my phone number to which they call me every day to harass me for money. I asked him repeatedly to resolve with them and he told me "ignore them". He never admitted to cashing the check, basically stealing $ from them and blame it on me, giving them my information to harass me. This guy is a bad dude & serial liar. They call me every day, several times a day saying I owe them $. If you hire him anyway and get deceived it's on you. You have been thoroughly warned. FYI- I gave him months to make this right and didn't want to leave a negative review but he's now ignoring my requests to resolve this issue & calls. I literally get collection call every day from a check cashing place that I don't know. From this guy Steve. Total loser!
