I am so happy I chose to work with Daniel to improve my GMAT score. He’s not only incredibly professional but has insight that the traditional test prep companies do not. He increased my score by more than 70 points in a few short months and I am forever thankful! Moreover, Daniel is simply put a good guy and was always super flexible with my crazy schedule. Thanks again Daniel!Apr 4, 2019Verified
I am so glad I went with Daniel over cheaper tutors! He has a unique approach I wasn't getting from other test prep companies and it has reflected in my dramatic improvement on practice tests. I would highly recommend him to anyone desperately trying to improve their score. Daniel is a tutor's tutor and well respected across the country. Under his tutalage, my life completely changed. I'm forever grateful. GMAT Improvement: 580-750 in two months.Jan 7, 2019Verified
After almost a year of studying I scored 640 on FOUR different GMAT practice tests. This is when I realized that Manhattan Prep strategies would not take me any further. I was not going to give up, so I started looking for other ways to improve my score. Somehow I stumbled upon Daniel's profile, and after reading multiple positive reviews I was persuaded that he was the right person to help me. Fast forward two months and here I'm celebrating my official 750 score. I know that if you are reading my review it might seem too good to be true, but I'm a real person that went through the same struggle that you are going through now. I would like to point out that although Daniel gave me a few very useful tips on the verbal section, 99% of the time we worked on quant. It is interesting though that my verbal score was going up as my quant score was improving. Since GMAT is a test on endurance, ability to preserve some brain power till the last question is very important, and I dived into the verbal part with confidence because I knew that my quant score would be within the range. If you goal is 700+, I suggest that you improve your quant score to high 40's before you decide whether verbal part needs more work. Also you should not hesitate working with Daniel because your work schedule is hectic. He was extremely patient while working with my always changing schedule and even came from the opposite part of the island in a snow storm (talk about a real hero :) Last but not least, Daniel is a "keep it together" kind of person. He is calm and he thinks before he starts writing. These qualities are uber important for GMAT, in my opinion, and I like to believe that they really rubbed off on me.Mar 27, 2017Verified
Math Allergy + World’s Best Tutor - Time = 760 score + Top 5 MBA acceptance! Dan is the reason I’m heading to my dream school without a doubt. I can’t imagine scoring over 750 without his help. I wasted an entire year spinning my wheels with 3 different test prep companies and feeling like a lost cause before finding Dan- and not to mention consistently scoring under 600 despite embarrassing amounts of effort. Less than 6 months of working with Dan boosted my raw quant score by a full 10 points and it kept on climbing. Dan is patient, encouraging and a complete genius. Most importantly, Dan gave me both the confidence and battle tested approaches to hit a score that I would have laughed off a few months earlier. It still boggles my mind that a 200 point increase is even possible, but Dan made it happen. I don't normally write online reviews, but I can't stop sharing the secret weapon to making your dream school acceptances roll in aka working with Dan and never looking back. You’re welcome :)May 12, 2017Verified

Dan is a very available tutor and helped me go from a 550 (Q27) on my first practice test to 690 (Q40) on my actual first GMAT. Dan was very flexible despite being across time zones, and was quick and to the point to make the most of our time. I feel comfortable tackling most kinds of questions and understanding the "why" behind quant problems. I'd recommend Dan for those who are very weak in quant and want to improve!Aug 18, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?225 dollars an hour. No other costs. I allow you to pay as you go, per lesson, so you won't have to pay a large sum up front and not know what you're getting. If you want to continue lessons, we continue- if you don't, you won't be hassled to continue and won't need to lobby for a refund for unused hours or anything.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to chat for 30 minutes to see where they are in their preparation and how I can help them. Students come to me with different needs and weaknesses, and we systematically address these until they can confidently perform these question types.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I scored a 780 on the GMAT and I've successfully tutored over 150 students for more than 2000 hours.
