I have helped many students rapidly increase their scores on The ACT. With the right amount of practice, anyone can improve on this test; however, you do not want to rush. Twice per week tutoring for at least 3 months is strongly recommended for solid improvement. I ONLY tutor for the ACT and mathematics, so the sessions are very focused. I supplement each of my tutoring sessions with the most recent official ACT tests.
I love helping my students get into the colleges of their dreams, and acing this test dramatically improves the chances of acceptance. Nicky did an outstanding job tutoring my son for the ACT test.
My son raised his score from a 17 to a 24. We had Nicky tutor him 2 days per week for a little over 4 months... Money well spent!!

My son jumped a huge 4 points on ACT with Nicky on first several sessions leading up to the test. That is significant! Puts my son in the next level of schools. I contacted Nick back in January to start ACT prep, and had never taken the test before. My first scores were 25 English, 26 Math, 31 Reading, and 32 science (29 composite). By the end (June Act), I ended up with a 35 English, 30 Math, 36 Science, and 32 Reading (33 composite and 34 superscore from the April Act I took and received a 35 reading). Overall, I improved 4 points on my composite score, and I was extremely grateful for Nick’s amazing help! He was very attentive and accommodating while also explaining every concept in detail and knowledge. We worked one time weekly, and he always showed up on time ready to work. I would never have improved my scores this drastically without his assistance, and I highly recommend if you are looking for an increase in score.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Cash or check is preferred for in-person tutoring. For online tutoring, I accept Venmo or PayPal. Venmo is preferred.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a senior at the University of California Berkeley with a double major in Data Science and Operations Research and Management Science (ORMS). I also worked at Kumon Learning Center for 3 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After scoring a 34 on the ACT and a 750 on the Sat Math 2 Subject test, I felt compelled to help my peers succeed as well.
