Working with Mike of MVP Productions, was such a pleasure for us! Before our big day, he sat down with us and got to know our personalities. But most of all, he listened to us and was flexible at every turn. Everyone had a blast at our wedding, and each moment ran so smoothly. He had our set list for the day, and made everything go off without a hitch, while managing to provide music on three floors of a tremendous venue! We got everything we asked for, and more! He even brought a photographer with him, who captured so many great moments that we didn't get to see throughout our busy day! I would highly suggest MVP Productions to anyone who wants a fantastic team, full of energy, fun, smiles, and enthusiasm! Mike makes it all about you and your guests, and makes it a priority to put you at ease. Again, I really couldn't have asked for better entertainment!

Father Callaham officiated my catholic wedding last December. He did a wonderful job and I would recommend him to anyone. He made our wedding so simple classy sophisticated. He did the ceremony in both English and Spanish, even though he's not native Spanish speaker, he does it very well, very clearly. First, we spoke with him a couple of times over the phone and then we met in person. He wanted us to discuss with him how exactly was the wedding we dreamt of. He's a good listener and kept into account every detail we told him. He even gave us very good ideas of things that we weren't even thinking about, gave us a wide selection of beautiful and appropriate readings including from the Bible. I wouldn't think twice if I had to recommend father Callaham to anyone , very professional and also punctual! he arrive to the venue an hour earlier!! Just the best officiant! :)
I cannot say enough about Peter. He was professional and extremely thorough throughout the entire process. We had such a great experience with him planning the bar, we decided to also hire him to be our event coordinator! He managed all vendors, rentals, and coordination with our venue, communicated with us through the whole process and then handled all clean-up! All of this on top of running the bar and keep drinks in everyone's hands! Thanks to Peter, my new wife and I were able to enjoy our event with confidence knowing that all of the logistics were in good hands. Thank you Peter!
Ana and her associate Maria were outstanding in all aspects during the planning and day of our wedding! Chef Dave was a pleasure to work with. He had a huge assortment of menu items to choose from and all of the ones we picked for our cocktail hour were delicious. He was very responsive and professional. He worked with us to make sure we got all we needed and that everything was set and ready to go on our big day. His work definitely helped to alleviate some of the stress of wedding planning. My only regret is that we didn't book him for our reception as well. We were doing a traditional Chinese wedding and the second venue already had their own catering. Otherwise, I'm sure Chef Dave would've also aced it there. Highly recommend.
For a recent corporate centennial celebration, I reached out to Thumbtack and honestly I was skeptical to entrust such an important event online, until I came across Thyme Events. Nancy and her team are real pros! Thyme Events relieved all the pressure, and despite knowing little about our company they anticipated our needs as if they were part of our team. The venue was transformed into a festive atmosphere, the service was intuitive and professional yet with a personal touch. However, the true superstar was the food. Since the event, the Duck Tacos are still the buzz around the office. No question, I know it'll be Thyme Events for all our future programs in the region! (I wish they served Hong Kong) Thanks Nancy and the team, 100 times!
I hired Party Poopers to organize my son's Bar Mitzvah. The moment I first spoke to Marla, I was impressed by her ideas and experience. She booked a venue of the exact type we were looking for, and got us a dj, a delicious caterer, a henna tattoo artist, a few dancers and character actors to entertain the guests, and a delightful party coordinator who managed the occasionally mischievous youthful guests without killing any fun. Everyone involved was punctual and hip! Many of my son's friends told him it was by far the best Bar Mitzvah they attended, including their own. My other son will be bar mitzvahed in just two years so we will be using Party Poopers again shortly -- albeit this son's taste differs greatly from his brother's, but Marla has assured me that she's done every kind of party imaginable and so has no lack of confidence that she'd be able to accommodate his more "unconventional" leanings.
Mighty Little Bash was kind enough to plan my wedding. I don't know where to begin to describe what an amazing experience it was. Planning a wedding comes with a lot of anxieties and being able to fully rely on Olga and her amazing sense of urgency relieved almost all anxiety. She was quick to respond and get tasks done, she has impeccable taste and brilliant cost effective ideas. Her creativity and passion provided unique ideas for the wedding. She went above and beyond and I didn't doubt her for a second. She was a one stop shop and provided every service I needed including finding a venue, caterer, florist (even doing some of my flowers herself), photographer, escort cards (designed by her), invites, decor, set up, breakdown. I could go on and on...and on! I would 10000% recommend her to anyone and already have! I will also be using Mighty Little Bash for future events!
Amy was the best decision we made during wedding planning. I was on the fence with a coordinator since my venue provides one as well, but there was such a difference in the level of quality Amy brought vs. who we had with our venue. Amy is a rock star at project management. I think her brain must work as one big gantt chart because she figured out all the important details on timing and coordinations before our wedding and was on top of the last minute fires the weekend of. Here are some of the standout things she did: - created our detailed timeline before the wedding - checked in with all our vendors the week before to make sure everyone was on the same page - helped me get ready the day of and kept me on schedule - suggested photo ops to our photographer (who seemed gracious of Amy's expertise) - helped fix last minute issues (e.g. we didn't have enough chairs for the ceremony and the venue's coordinator never addressed the issue.) - handed out our tips the day of - made sure my husband and I were okay on drinks and food at the reception Her pricing was ridiculously affordable. All in all, worth every penny. As someone who doesn't like to pay for things I think I can do myself... and was on the fence with a DOC to begin with... Amy was the best money we spent and I'm so glad and thankful she was with us!
We hired Moses for sound equipment for our wedding as well as for our wedding backdrop and some additional set up equipment. From the very start, he was a pleasure to work with, very professional, and incredibly responsive. We went back and forth many times trying to brainstorm solutions for what we needed for our unusual venue and he made everything come together perfectly. He arrived on time, set up everything quickly and efficiently, created a beautiful backdrop for us and set up high quality sound equipment that was easy to use. He really was a pleasure to work with and provided truly exceptional service.
Brianne came on board as our day-of planner after our original venue went bankrupt and we had to move the wedding to 26 Bridge in Dumbo at the last minute. She was extraordinarily helpful in advising how to pull everything together and explaining what we would need throughout the day in terms of coordinating vendors. She met and talked with me several times before the day, and then was there on-site at the venue from the morning before the wedding started, all the way through until the end of the party at 1am, to make sure that everything went smoothly. Brianne showed up even earlier than the agreed-upon time and made sure throughout the day that every little thing was taken care of. I'm sure there were plenty of hiccups but I don't even know about them because she just took charge and ensured that everything was exactly the way we wanted it. She called all of the vendors ahead of time to make sure everything was on track, and then coordinated with them throughout the day whenever needed to make sure everything happened as planned. She has a very calming and warm presence that was so great to have on our wedding day -- she made sure both of us knew what was going on, but that we were calm and happy throughout the day. Plus, she did so many little things - like making sure we got champagne as soon as we said our "I do's" - that made us feel like a million bucks. I'm so glad we had her there!
Dima helped me with a house party. He was alone managing 40+ guests due to last minute issues other bartender had. But Dima took care of everyone without any hasitation and very professionally. I couldn't believe how well the bar was managed and the innovative cocktails Dima did. Guests enjoyed the party and quick chats with Dima! He's awesome!
Rick was very professional and easy to work with. He made choosing a venue simple, despite the fact that I don't live or work in NYC and was unable to tour sites before the event. I was so happy with how our event turned out, and I definitely feel that Rick was a part of making that happen!

I could honestly not imagine my wedding day without Michelle. I felt as though I was somewhat of a difficult bride to work with because I was so anxious about my wedding day being perfect. Michelle worked so closely with us to ensure that our August Wedding at a non traditional Venue, the almost 100 year old Historic Women’s Club of Glen Ridge was a Dream wedding. Michelle communicated with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was on the same page. Michelle created beautiful floral centerpieces based on the vision I had in my head. She worked so hard and updated me every few hours while I got to enjoy my last few moments as a misses. Her work as a florist blew my mind and the centerpieces were so beautiful Michelle not only created our beautiful centerpieces from scratch, at a fraction of the cost that a florist would have charged but she was able to pick up our bouquets from an outside florist and drop them off at the hotel where my Bridesmaids and I were getting ready and she helped adjust my veil and it felt like I had not just a wedding coordinator, talented florist, decorator but also a friend there on my special day. Michelle flawlessly communicated with out caterers and was able to direct their team to ensure that they followed the layout my husband and I had a created. There are just too many little details to mention here but Michelle took care of everything from creating the centerpieces to setting tables to beautifully placing fresh roses in every tier of my wedding cake to greeting guests. I know I am not mentioning every single thing she took care of because she took care of everything! I have no IDEA how our wedding would have gone so smoothly without her loving and talented soul. Ontop of being on top of every single detail Michelle was so friendly and likable, my parents fell in love with her and just loved her personality and all of her beautiful work. My In Laws were very impressed with her talent as well. Michelle was able to flawlessly interact with my big Dominican family and Michael’s Irish and Italian family. I could not recommend her enough! She is beyond talented and has a golden personality. My husband Michael and I feel so blessed and lucky to have had her on our special day! We couldn’t have done it without her.
