Introduction: I am Heather - a NYC- and /Newport RI registered minister, fully vaccinated, who can happily officiate your ceremony. Weddings must be in person. Flat Fee of $500. It includes both a process review pre-call or Zoom session and the ceremony itself. The wedding party will already have the license and any administrative fees required by the Clerk. You need to have the license at least 24 hours in advance of the marriage vows as per NY law. No waiting period in RI. You have up to 60 days after you get the license to get married. I will tailor the ceremony for your special day and am honored to be included on your memorable event. Thank you!

I was in touch with Heather for a long time, before deciding to cancel the whole event due to the pandemic and my family being abroad. Nonetheless, Heather was EXTREMELY nice, kind and helpful. She was super responsive and professional, and explained me all the steps we would go through. She arranged the Zoom meeting for everyone to be present at the same time. Even though we did not pursue, I will reach out to her for my actual wedding. From my experience with her, I will recommend her eyes closed!

My wedding was very small and informal. It was quickly done after my husband and I got our license. Heather worked with us, walked us thru what was going to happen. We had a problem with our Zoom, but Heather talked with my sister who was also on Zoom and I eventually got on. This paragraph doesn't say enough..But big or small Heather will meet you all the way..So courteous, professional and puts you at ease. Talks like she has always known you...THANK YOU HEATHER...

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$300 Flat fee for a Manhattan-based wedding plus RT Uber costs and a process discussion. Payable in full at the time of booking. No refunds yet happy to switch the date with at least 24 hours notice to a mutually available time. No services outside Manhattan or the Bronx at present due to the coronavirus.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to hear about clients wishes. Your wedding is yours to design. Short and sweet. Or comprehensive practices. Do you have your own vows? Language preferences? Please let me know. We will aim to have it happen.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered officiant with NYC and believe that love is love and I support both non-religious or non-denominational ceremonies.
