- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $60/hr for organizing services. Discount Packages are available for larger projects (greater than 10hrs). Video Tape transfers is 20¢ per min of final video. 8mm Reels cost $18-$25/reel depending on the size of the reel. Discounts available for projects over $500.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The most important part of my process for any project is to properly assess what step the client is on in order to present the best next step. Everyone’s situation is different. I am available to assist throughout the whole process and promise to meet you where you are. It is my profession to facilitate the decision making process and make it as easy as possible for you. For Organizing projects: 1. Assess the challenges of the client’s situation 2. Present a plan for tackling the project. 3. Make a best faith estimate for how much time a project will take. 4. Continue to work with the client in order to achieve organizational goals. For Video Transfers 1. Collect media from customer and agree on desired end result 2. Digitize content 3. Collect payment at pickup
