Dave played our corporate event in New Jersey and totally rocked the house. We unfortunately had to hide him away inside due to a competing wedding and I feel like we didn't get to take advantage of his full show quality, but we still had a great time listening to him. He has a wonderful voice and is extremely talented. When he broke out the harmonica, we lost it. Just a wonderful talent, and professional person through and through. Thanks, Dave!

From the moment he started playing, he created such a great atmosphere for the entire room. His voice was incredible, his piano playing was flawless, and he kept everyone entertained throughout the night. May 2026 - Dave was absolutely the PERFECT choice for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary party. Dave was right on time, easy to work with and set-up his equipment without any distraction. He worked with me on song selection and came through with flying colors on delivering each one of our “must-haves.” He made a point to have a conversation with me prior to the event about the genres of music we enjoyed and the mood we were looking for. We settled on a classic rock, Sinatra cocktail vibe that grew with variety as the evening went on. His talent really showed when we asked him to do a couple songs on the fly making my music-loving dad very happy. Dave’s voice is outstanding and it honestly was a joy to have his vocals floating around us during such a special evening. He set the tone from the moment we shouted “surprise!” to the very last song and my sister’s and I could not be happier with his performance. At times I couldn’t believe it was just one man and his piano creating such a full sound - it filled the space beautifully (large speakeasy bar). The evening would not have felt the same with him. We hired Dave Diedrich for my wife’s outdoor birthday party (about 50 people), and he was absolutely perfect! From start to finish, Dave was responsive, easy to work with, and just an all-around great guy. He had the perfect mix of songs—great energy that kept the vibe fun and upbeat, but never so loud that guests couldn’t talk and enjoy the night. Everyone commented on how great the music was. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a customer reaches out to me about a potential performance, I find a time for them that works that we can chat. I usually want to get a little information about what type of an event they’re having there’s definitely a difference between playing dinner music and putting on a performance or somewhere in between my customers usually like that I can do both in any setting in any room different styles just playing a playlist or taking requests but these are all things I wanna figure out before I have to show up and start it the performance
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve been playing piano ever since I can remember writing songs and putting albums out about five years ago I started learning a lot of covers of songs that I loved growing up. It brought me into the cover song style of playing.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My most recent event took place at the CitizenM hotel in Time Square. It was a corporate event for a investment firm. They were hosting a party for their clients. It was on the rooftop in Times Square so it was great views. It was a beautiful night there customers enjoyed themselves. These type of gigs are why I started doing corporate events. Love it.
