I started FitClass and Personal Training with Helen this past July, and have seen a major improvement in my ability to endure longer periods of time doing cardio as well as strength. Helen carefully plans out each training session with me and incorporates things that I like. No two sessions are the same. I feel challenged in a good way as the intensity increases over time. When I started, Helen took measurements and had me perform a series of tests. When she followed up after 2 months, it was really motivating to see how much I had improved and the difference in measurements. My friends and family have been noticing that I look healthier and more fit. :) For the first time in a long time, I feel like I'm getting back to the "old me" again, healthier and more toned. I look forward to my weekly 1:1 sessions coupled with FitClass 3-4 times a week!
Judene has provided a varied and creative workout so far each week. I am challenged just enough without wanting to give up before the end of the hour. The routines are easy to follow on my own and never boring. Very happy I found her!
Chris goes above and beyond! He helps me during a bootcamp he created for our church, Fit Church. He is very good about modifying workouts based upon fitness level, chronic pain and prior injuries. He has always been very supportive and doesn't let anyone give up on themselves!

I was recommended to Carol after I injured my hamstring and Achilles heel two years ago. While she works on overcoming individual injuries she also looks at the whole person and helps train you to manage the health of your whole body. For example, she helped me realize that years of sitting and working at a computer day in and day out has done more damage to my muscles and alignment that even the direct injuries I suffered and she has worked out a training plan to keep my whole body in alignment. Carols program and positive outlook has helped this 60 year-old reclaim her body and I look forward to working with her to help me age healthy and gracefully. I have been with Power Train for 2 years and I can honestly say that it has made me a stronger and faster player. The trainers are there to work you hard and help you become the best athlete you can be. They helped me work towards my goal of being able to sign to a D2 school and play on an academy team. When I had my two knee surgeries the trainers helped me gain back my range of motion, my speed on cuts, and make all the muscles around my knee stronger! Steve has been a great inspiration to me. He has helped me to loose weight and inches and feel good about myself. He is very encouraging even when I feel like I can't go any further. Steve makes the small group trainings and the classes he teaches fun so you can enjoy working out. This is the longest I've stayed with any fitness plan. Thanks to Steve for doing such a great job!
I began working with Claire in March because I am getting married in September and wanted to tighten some things up and these past 2 months have really been fantastic! I feel very comfortable with her. She is extremely knowledgeable- She has helped me with an eating plan along with a workout regimen. I was not all that knowledgeable myself with weight lifting and she goes above and beyond to help me understand parts of the body i'm working and even quick with a text response if we are not working out together and I am unsure of something. After working out with her twice a week for 2 months, I can really start to see how my body is changing and her motivation helped me not to give up when I got frustrated. She has spunk, a truly winning personality, and when needed will push me to do more. I don't know what I would do without her!
