About Me
I started capturing candid moments as my family's personal photographer. There's something special about capturing genuine connections between people, and weddings allow me to continue capturing that magic all year round.
Who am I when I'm not a photographer? I'm the woman singing along to The Beatles at every possible opportunity. I'm the American who is way too invested in Formula 1. I'm one half of the best Rochester foodie duo on Instagram. I'm the humble servant of the prettiest, softest orange cat in the world. I'm the relative who went way, way overboard for the Woodstock-themed family reunion. I'm the Rochesterian who misses Starry Nites Cafe with all her heart, but has learned to embrace change and the new coffee shop. And above all else I'm someone who will take any opportunity to learn something new.
I am from Ellicottville NY, live in Rochester, and frequently work in Buffalo and Syracuse, but am ready to travel.
About My Work
When I think of a wedding, I picture quick, adorable glances between the couple; clusters of people, some who have never even met, laughing together at the reception; that toddler who somehow fell asleep while music roars in the background; the surprisingly heartfelt speech from the goofy brother that brings tears to your eyes.
My photography style is candid and people-focused, while still covering essential formal portraits. My greatest joy is capturing that little moment you didn't even notice and the emotions that accompany them.
