Hi! I’m Gianna Hoffer (almost Cohen) — a life coach, future mental health counselor, and someone who believes that healing isn’t about becoming someone new, but finally coming home to yourself.
I’m in my mid-thirties, and for the first time, life feels like it truly belongs to me. After growing up surrounded by trauma and spending years navigating the mental health challenges that followed, I’ve done the hard, messy, meaningful work of recovery. Now, I live in a home filled with love, a very bossy pug, a few chaotic cats, and a fiancé who reminds me every day what safe, steady support looks like.
I’m currently halfway through my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and coaching allows me to meet people exactly where they are — blending lived experience with clinical understanding. My approach is rooted in existentialism and deep authenticity. I believe we’re all searching for meaning, and that our stories — even the painful ones — hold power.
I work with people who are in recovery — from mental health challenges, eating disorders, addictions, and life-altering illness. You’ve already done the hard work of surviving. Now you're asking: what next? That’s where I come in.
Self-disclosure is a key part of how I connect. Not as a spotlight, but as a bridge. Sometimes just knowing someone else gets it is what opens the door to change.
My role is to help you reclaim your life on your terms — with honesty, agency, and a deep sense of self.
