We read the reviews and still opted to go with the service hoping we could get someone consistent. On the first service date, we saw the mower pull up but then just circled around and left. We were expecting guest the next day and was very disappointed. We called and was told his lawn mower couldn't fit in our back yard. We described our back yard prior to the job so it was no surprise. They promised to have someone out the next day. The next day - no one showed up. We reached out and they stated they were trying to find someone to do the job. We were right back where we stared. We quickly reach out to cancel service. They mentioned we were not billed. This was nearly a month ago. Over the weekend, I received an email asking us to take a chance on them again. I was going to respond but decided to just remove my name from the emails and move on. I did but just received an email stating someone came back to service our home but they decided it was too we to mow. Never mind the fact that we cancelled service, they never came the first time and we never signed up again. To make matters worse - it is SUPER hot outside - there is nothing wet out there. If we did have their service and was expecting it - we would be yet again disappointed. I am hoping they get the hint that we are not moving forward with them - not today, tomorrow or 30 days from now. If they continue to send emails stating they are sending people to mow the lawn, we will go to the BBB and file a complaint.Sep 29, 2019VerifiedLawn Love Lawn Care's reply

-5 stars. Awful awful awful. Even though I submitted pictures and descriptions the lawn person spent 30-45 minutes getting a new quote WHICH THEY CHARGED ME FOR even after I rejected their service when my quote was increased to 7 TIMES me original quote. I denied service and sent them away only to get offered a discount by the guy and paid him via paypal. They did less than 1/2 the work I paid for, left cans all over the yard and now this company is contacting me 3x a day to charge me $105 for the 30 minutes I was on the phone with them. I hired a team from Lawn Love to do a big fall cleanup job, which was desperately needed. The team showed up a little bit early (which I thought was great!) and took the time to walk around with me and listen to my specific hopes and plans. They completed everything in record time, hauled away all of the lawn debris and waste, and left me with what looked like a brand new yard! I chose Lawn Love over other companies for two main reasons: (1) Cost. A few landscaping companies had put out promotions for consultations/services and I had them all come and provide me with a quote, but all the quotes were ridiculous! I’m talking it would have be more cost effective to take 2-3 days off of work and do it myself than go with one of these companies...not ideal! (2) Responsiveness. I google searched “fall clean-up lawn service Raleigh” and was directed to the Thumbtack app. A few hours later that same day I was on the schedule for THAT SAME WEEK!!! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Our quoting is highly dependant on the customer providing us an accurate depiction of the condition of their property, the type of job requested, and our ability to inspect the yard using satellite imagery. We are able to provide a discount to customers who book regular services with us to help keep their yards maintained and healthy during the entire growing season!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We provide all customers with a quote for service in advance of visiting their property. Once a quote is accepted, a highly trained and experienced lawn care tech is dispatched to the customer’s property to complete the work. Our goal is to provide a high level of customer service that leaves both yards sparkling and our customer smiling! In the rare event that a job needs to be rescheduled or re-quoted, we openly communicate all options to the customer in a transparent and low-pressure manner. Payment for most jobs is only required once the job is complete and the customer is completely satisfied!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We are dedicated to continual learning. There is always room in our noggins for more industry expertise.
