Wow!! I just checked out the many incarnations of Darlando and I am blown away! Talk about the ability to transform. He is on it for real! Even before I checked out pics of his many incarnations, I saw Darlando's ability to be a chameleon with his looks and persona when I saw him in to completely different stage performances.
Darlando appeared in my play "The Brownstone" (oops, did I not say I am a playwright? Well, I am). In it, he played a regular, blue-collar, neighborhood guy in the 1970s who loved to dance. He blew everyone away with his dance number in the play. I wasn't even jealous when the audience clamored for an encore of his dance performance at the end.
I became a HUGE fan and I wanted to see Darlando wherever he was performing. I caught him in a performance of La Cage and, all I could say was, WHAT!!! He was gorgeous. The makeup was flawless and so glamorous; the long, flowing locks were on point and looked so natural; the Wonder Woman figure was outstanding and the sexy outfit was painted on. With those ultra-high heels, sexy strut (and whip!), he was an audience favorite. It was so hard to believe that he was the same person who played a regular guy in "The Brownstone."
Besides his ability to do phenomenal hair and makeup. He knows how to put just the right outfit with the look to make the look work. Also, looks like he's a foodie, too! Who could ask for anything more? I could. I think I will have Darlando do my makeup just see something different. Sometimes you just want a change. Check out "The Darlando Experience."
Sorry if I'm gushing but I love his looks!
