ROC city movers are very responsive and willing to get you on the calendar immediately. They showed up, completed the job the storage unit move and were very polite to my 2 littles who wanted to help but were really getting in the way. If I’m moving again, I’ll hire them.

Our experience with ROC City Movers was FANTASTIC from the very start to finish. I had a last minute job from moving all the furniture from upstairs (3 bedrooms and hallway) to downstairs. Needed it done the very next day for a carpet installation that was sprung on me the last minute. I heard from Josh within 3 minutes of posting. He asked for a call to go over the specifics. He was all in and so kind. He put my mind at ease saying he will help us find room for everything in a tiny cape. Josh and Casey showed up the next morning 10 minutes early and never stopped working. They were so thoughtful to leave us room and paths. They were precise and delicate with our old furniture. Can’t say enough about this company. They treated two old ladies so respectfully and truly caring.

Steve and his crew at Roc City were excellent. They worked fast, stayed focused, and didn’t waste time. Roc City Movers were absolutely incredible! From the very first point of communication, they were personable, knowledgeable, and quick to respond with clear and accurate answers. We booked less than a week before our move, and they still managed to accommodate us — which we are beyond grateful for!
On moving day (8/24), the team of three — led by Josh (Co-Owner), with Kevin and Casey — showed up ready to go and worked nonstop for over 6 hours. They moved with a smile the entire time, always asking and listening carefully to what we needed. They were careful, coordinated, and extremely efficient in every step of the process. A special shout-out to Kevin, who proved to be a true Tetris master when it came to loading the truck — it was seriously impressive!
Not only did they handle everything with care and professionalism, but the conversations and positive energy made the whole experience even better. Moving is usually stressful, but with Roc City Movers, it felt seamless.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is straightforward and transparent. Full-service moves are $110 per mover, per hour and include the truck, moving equipment, and standard protective materials like stretch wrap. Labor-only services are $85 per mover, per hour. For moves with more than 2 movers, we offer 10% off our hourly rates. We have a $600 minimum for full-service moves and a $300 minimum for labor-only services. Your deposit is applied toward your final total, with no hidden or surprise fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by confirming the details of your move: address, inventory, timing, and any special needs. From there, we send a clear quote and lock in your date with a small deposit. Our crew shows up on time, ready to work hard and make the day stress-free.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial moving. We’ve trained in safe lifting techniques, efficient packing, and protecting furniture and homes during a move. We know how to move fast—without cutting corners.
